Honestly have you cowards ever thought of orbiting the asteroid you're mining? Fitting an afterburned to make you as hard to hit as possible?

Of course not, that would require actual intellect not this crap you've come up with.

No, it's not griefing. Just go to another belt or system and if they keep following you around THEN it might be griefing. But you know this anyway.

how can you warp when being bumped?

So what's your solution? Suspect for bumping? I would greatly enjoy your next visit to Jita.

if you read first orniginal post you would have a general idea/

A while back a few corp mates and I went to an Ice belt and bumped the bumpers even bumped James afew times. it was fun, they ended up leaving.

Lets Play a game that i pay a sub for every month then lets pay these people in the game to not be harassed and bumped.
If i dont pay them i dont get to play the game how i want to play Eve and if i cant play Eve how i want, then i guess CCP created a game that i dont want to pay for or play and that i would never recommend this game to my friends family co-workers and any for of social media.
So while the New Order takes over and not only are we paying CCP to play this game we the players are also paying other players to play this game... which those players have no entitlement to the game payment as CCP dose.

Then leave.

I'm gonna give you a bit of wisdom. Ya ready?

It's called the Procurer.

[Procurer, New Setup 1 copy 1]
Damage Control II
Mining Laser Upgrade II

EM Ward Field II
Adaptive Invulnerability Field II
Experimental 10MN Afterburner I
Adaptive Invulnerability Field II

Modulated Strip Miner II, Veldspar Mining Crystal II

Medium Ancillary Current Router I
Medium Ancillary Current Router I
Medium Core Defense Field Extender I

Mining Drone II x5

See this thing? This thing is worth has over 76,000 EHP if you're paying attention, and will orbit around a rock at 290m/s. It has a yield of 74.5% of a max yield Hulk.

And the hull costs approximately 11 million. Nobody is gonna gank something with that much tank for so little cost.

Or if you want more yield, you can drop the DC for another Mining Upgrade. Then you'll get 58,000 EHP and 80% of a max yield Hulk.

Or, if bumping is the bigger issue, then get a Skiff. 110,000 EHP, 650 m/s.

i fail to see the extortion of paying a nother player to pay for the game that i have paid for the days to play to CCP.

unless the New Order is CCP im not going to pay another player to play this game after ive paid the owners developers and copyright holders to play this game.

i see were this new person is trying to go.

you guys that dont understand fully what is happening.

but maybe its just being blown out of proportion to the point that no one is careing and that when it becomes a serious issue its to damn late. hopefully i wont be around to be effected by that.

gonna give you a bit of common sense.

this person looks like they just started.
they look like they know what is going on in Eve or have a rough idea of whats happening in Hi-sec/
this person might have 100k sp and it takes what 6months to train and orca for decent tank and maybe that long for the leadership skills?

so what months of training for that skiff?
de hell is this new player that knows how to play the game knows what they want to do for that time period?

how is that new player going to ever make isk if they cant even do a basic boring task as mining?
what else is there to do while waiting or months for skills to train? mine in that venture and hope no one trys to gank you for being in that venture.
"oh hey can do missions and shoot rats and go pve or pvp"
yeah that **** is only going to make that months to a hole year. good thinking beacuse youre so smart.
"why dont you just orbit the roid u dumbass"
well why dont u do that ur self and see how well orbiting works? it dosnt help the new player enough to survive a gank. and to not be bumped if they want to bump them they are gonna get bumped orbiting or not.

most of you are thinking things with the skills you have new players dont have skills.
which shows youre comon sense skill.

these people arent being ganked they are being bumped out of range of their mining lasers. orbiting the rock would be the simplest solution to the issue

realy easy to fix if ccp wanted to all they would have to do is make it so the bumper bounces off the miner if a mining laser is mining.
no gate problems with the change and no undock problems with the change.

If you know you're going to be targeted, fit a tank! That is what stops people from being ganked, but you're apparently far too dense to realize that fact.

SOLUTION

New mid slot module
when active it prevents you from moving and increases your mass by 10-100 times,
significantly reducing the effect of bumping

Actually there are already low slot modules that kind of do that, ie armor plates. It would be funny to see a mining barge or an Itty 5 loaded out with armor plates to give it a rediculous high mass! I think I'll have to try that next time I log on! I'll name the ship "Bump me, please!" I think this is a brilliant plan. Lol Anyone else want to try it out as well?

Well, plates can have rather high demands on...PG...or is CPU, but let us know how it works. Of course, with high mass, wouldn't it take you forever to stop?

Hell of a title for the thread. I figured it was another tardling 'nerf concord' stunt.

As for the issue you are talking about - if bumping is seen as breaking game-play for many (and that is a hell of a lot more than a some in one or 2 regions), CCP will "fix" it. Just like the "priva-tears" nerf to wardecs, titan nerf when those were used differently, the "adjustments" to mining ships due to the lamoids looking for ez-hulkageddon kills, etc.

When "the community" starts trashing an area too roughly, they'll adjust things so just keep this in mind and as you build momentum with your discussions (pull in the Freighter pilots too), it'll hit CCP's radar and they'll adjust it.

Have faith this game does have a lot of "actions have consequences" - even when people figure theirs shouldn't/don't - they do.
