wtf is so hard about visiting jita once in a while?
saying there is no ice is almost as irrelevant as there being no mod, ship or ammo blue prints dropping in WHs...

i love the idea, i really do. its a bit like our own chribba owned station in wormhole space. i just doubt it will work.

a small pos is just begging to be reinforced. since id like to see how this goes ill ask my guys not to do so once i find out who not to shoot, but people not reading here or not caring will reinforce it sooner or later

also, you underestimate the amounts of fuel you need. our c6 alone needs between 2-3 freighters of ice products a month to keep running. and thats when making all pi ourselves. and there are several alliances that use more ice then we do because they have more towers

you want a c1 static, so freighters and orca's arent possible. youre limited to iteron mark 5's. that is about 20 trips for every freighter. so 40-60 for my wh alone. then add the following and assume they use the same amount as we do. this is just static c6

so now we are talking 300! iteron mark 5's a month, just in ice. on top of that you need like 40 pi alts to make the fuel, or start adding iteron mark 5's.

static c1 will provide easy empire acces....but is also a ***** to collapse. Bob will give you c1 static 0sec which removes all options for logistics for that day. then there are the c1 static lows in the arse end of nowhere and the highsec islands

lets say you get 1 c1 a day, due to not being able to collapse, and 9 a month are terrible. that leaves you with 21 days. assuming the 5 alliances i mentioned buy from you you are talking 200-300 iteron trips. this is assuming you do nothing but haul ice. so you get 10-15 iteron trips every day. if its close to amarr/jita, this is doable. but if its 10 jumps out youre looking at 120-180 jumps.

as for honor......good luck. though there are the famous wh etiquettes, there are plenty of thieves ed around.

When you described your dream system as like neutral ground you kinda had me there. made me think of some older space movies of backwater systems with grubby run down space dinners with a mottly collection of space truckers

this is really cute, but it has no basis in reality

not only would this be expensive, a nightmare logistically for both parties and you yourself would be better off doing this in highsec

we are never going to pay the fee you will require to maintain this at a feasable level


i'd rather just have my freighter alt pop in and out once or twice a month to fuel a system, a lot less effort in the long run.

Slightly off topic, but I think there should be an additional boon to living in a black hole

- they spawn ice grav sites.

PS As much as its a great idea in theory, in practice (with the amount of fuel the big alliances use) it won't work
