Relic Sites Post-Odyssey

A group of us were running one of the C5 relic sites (Forgotten Core Information Pen) and while, before Odyssey we would need to hack a can or two before the 3rd wave would spawn, after the expansion we simply did not see any waves spawning, even after hacking all 15 cans.

Additionally, we had an Abandoned Talocan Container spawn which was completely empty, verified by cargo scanning it before hacking and collecting all of the mini-cans after to be sure. This is the second Talocan container we've found which is empty and I'm not sure whether this is a bug or we've just got unlucky with our spawns.

I'm not sure if both of these are bugs or just something we're missing, but I thought it would be good to check before submitting a bug report. Any ideas?

If no additional waves have spawned this indeed might be a bug or intended change by CCP. I will ask around.

Yeah, I have encountered them once or twice before, but it just seemed strange that both were empty, perhaps I just offended the loot fairy in some way. I'm going to keep an eye out at any more sites we run to see if more empty talocans appear.

Relic sites are still good. Data sites on the other hand...haven't found loot in a talocan since about a week or so after the expac. Pretty sure the sites aren't despawning, and when the talocan/rats respawn after DT, the loot inside the talocan doesn't despawn. So right now we have a bunch of data sites that aren't despawning, so the talocans are always empty.

edit: I've ran at least 30+ data sites, all empty talocans.

Last ten or so Data Fields have had little to nothing in the Talocan for me as well.

Had a similar issue in a C4 relic site. The spawn after 'successfully hacking a can' never showed, after we completed the talocan cruiser (loot present if underwhelming) and three of the regular cans.

As I have previously stated, nothing but PI/carbon/crap in last 30 or so Talocans in data fields. Pretty sure this is not working as intended. Haven't seen any sort of Hull section in weeks.

Can confirm this as well. Done over 15 Data Fields in the past week, No hull sections what so ever confirmed by cargo scanning and scooping cans.

The few sites I ran dropped crap also. Haven't seen a hull section in quite a while...

You gotta love stopping your farming, get 5 hacking ships to loot crap after 3-4 minutes per can... Oh, nevermind, I don't bother doing Data or Relic sites.

In all honesty, even if we could loot the same amount as before I would still not do it. You can do at least 3 anoms in the time it takes you to clean up a Data/Relic that already take you 5 extra ships/character. Good thing I have a stack of BPC prior to Odyssey.

We did a data site yesterday and the talocan DID have stuff. Nothing serious from what I gather on TS chatter, but there was at least the usual crap in it.

Yeah, it's more or less the same sentiment here.

Overall, everybody in corp hates the new hacking sites. Not only do they take an eternity to complete, they require half the corp to hang around the cans being bored while the other half is trying to hack them. And while it was interesting for the first few times, even the hacking itself bores me now.

We mostly ran the site to get rid of it, hoping to get something decent next time. Which is a shame, because prior to the patch everybody was excited to have a data site. Nowadays everybody goes "Oh no, not again".

You must not realize you can solo those sites and not have to split the massive isk that comes with it...

None. I got a bunch of junk that accumulated to under 100k a talocan. I haven't seen any hulls in a few weeks from running sites honestly. I imagine many will agree.

Scanning all cans before hacking as well and no hulls have been seen on scans.
