Need help for HYBRIDs repost.

I am stop paying for my account some time ago because of "18monthofallworkingasintendedheremonocle" and cant post in F&I.
But! I love this game and want play it again. Look like DEVs now see "small hybrid problems" and I want to offer you some changes that may help(or not). If someone like this idea, please repost it in F&I thread. And sorry if my English not very good. Oops



HYBRIDS need REAL change


Blasters can`t be OP (megadamage or megaweb) and can`t be minmatar/amarr speed-range-tank etc... ok
Fitting change and add some damage is good but this not solve the Problem of fighting faster targets with longer weapons.

Why not add little change to concept of blasters and not to ruin it?


GUNS change

Blasters work on optimal/falloff, add(+)15% TH damage, remove(-)15% KI damage
Railguns work on optimal>falloff, -15% TH damage, +15% KI damage
(percentage maybe need rethink for balance)

AMMO change

Ammo pure damage is equal for close, medium and long charges on same category (S or M or L or XL)
T1 ammo like now but with little range help
T2 long blaster ammo cap-hungry with delayed end-cycle shot (bzzzzzzzzzzz-wooooooshhhh like BLAST you know?) with BIG range boost (autos opt+2xfalloff == blaster opt+2xfalloff )
T2 rail ammo damage boost

So with this changes:
Close blaster ammo hit harder with thermal damage bonus. Longer shots lose some thermal damage part and are weaker. (Gallente race feature)
Close rail ammo balanced on kinetic/thermal damage and shots lose some thermal damage part with long range ammo. (Gallente-Caldari race feature )
T2 Blaster ammo get some small electromagnetic damage because of plasma ejection.
T2 Rail ammo get some small explosive damage because of uranium slug meet your face.
And T2 ammo with this changes be more PVP-oriented.


SHIPS change (backstory)

… And little speed boost on Gallente armor tanked ships is normal because of elve... err Gallente biological design is not from fantasy world, it is technological feature of light weight bio-armor and can`t be superhardened by resists (like Amarr) but can be rapaired faster with it`s regenerative bonus.

Thanks for posting your contribution and I'm glad to hear you still care about what is happening in the game, but I also think there are loads good ideas about how to alter hybrids already presented to CCP, so I won't repost your OP. It's not a matter of lack of good ideas now, but a matter of making a choice between all the different options and CCP willingness to re-evaluate the situation after the changes have been in the game for a while and do additional changes as and if needed.
