Well I have been playing for 2 days now after a 1 year stop. I wanted to ask if there are any big or good Youtubers around who make videos of EVE and tutorials in which they tell some good tips and how some thing work.

I'm mining now first so I have the time to watch videos :)

Don't mine. Do missions. At least that way your skillset is transferable to PvP, incursions, ratting, etc. Mining leads to... nothing.

It wouldn't surprise me that there isn't a video tutorial to Eve. So many things change so often that many of the things you would learn from them are much easier to keep updated with a text guide. You will learn more by looking for guides and joining a real corporation than you will looking for youtube videos.

Mining is ok as long as you have something else better to do at the same time. Like watch youtube while mining.

Looking to talk on VOIP with other EVE players? Are you new and need help with EVE (welfare) or looking for advice? Looking for adversarial debate with angry people?

You might like Seamus Donohue's videos: http://www.youtube.com/user/SeamusDonohueEVE

Commenters seem to get on his case about the way he speaks (specifically, his "s" sounds), but it's never bothered me. There's some pretty good information there, even in videos made during previous expansions.

EVE University in general provides a lot of information for free. Check http://wiki.eveuniversity.org/EVE_University_Class_Library for class recordings and also consider browsing around the rest of their Wiki. I know it's not YouTube, but it's still a treasure trove of info for the new pilot.

You might also check out Sir Clik's videos ( http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL_tjL3lP0kLYaNlIPDq0AkM8yef42sD8I for tutorials, http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL_tjL3lP0kLYnaHLTSXPyMbkerSpiIRrI for an ongoing Let's Play series that's just getting started ).

Also, there's JonnyPew at http://www.youtube.com/user/JonnyPew/videos

There are many others, some excellent and some not so much. Those are simply the three that come to mind immediately (probably because I've been watching their videos most recently).

Good luck in your learning and future travels, anyway.

I have some videos in my cargo hold I could bring you to watch. Where do you primarily mine while watching YouTube videos?
