Something that gets the attention of media sites and makes eve more famous is posted on the general discussion of the game.
Get your facts straight sir.

On a side note, this is why groups like TEST and Goons generate so much damn jealousy/hatred from some people. TEST and Goons (and the scammers and cheats and gankers and pirates) and the like are actually doing noteworthy things and contributing to the health (all those dead ships need replacing, have at it, carebears) and notoriety of EVE online.

Meanwhile, all the nice guy 'bears who love to talk about "sociopaths" are playing solo in protected space. Their existence in EVE online will come to the same conclusion as their IRL one...no one will know or care they even existed.

Even though these battles are lame and I don't ever want to be in such a huge lagfest..

I appreciate the mindless sheep that conduct them so we can have more news coverage of our great game.

same ****, different pile... The big scams are one of the things eve is known for, and you think they would happen without the carebears getting scammed out of all their isk...

I tried to get there but got podded on the way. I really wanted to join the blob and take that screenshot with my gattling pulses and civilian shield booster. Most disappointing. Sad

Good job. Twisted

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

I was docked up, in protected space, offline, playing Dota 2 with my friends and watching Oblivion.

Pretty good movie, way better then I could have hoped for Blink

And I accidentally more blues than reds, but it was still glorious! Cool

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

Ah, carebearing as an indicator of remaining unimportant IRL.

There's so much wrong with the sentence above...

Lemme start:

- Adolf Hitler was important?
- as everything is finite so's your importance
- even IRL unimportant people may be best parents ever and thus have achiebed more than important people like mentioned under 1.
- carebears might be bearing because they are actually achieving something more than setup a game related website and get a boner on kill stats

Importance & narcisism are related.

Way to miss the point.

The point is you have all these "Goon/TEST/Null/omg people I don't like" haters floating around talking smack, when the truth is, it's the people they are talking smack about who are important to the game. It's people like Goons and TEST who make the game noteworthy.

It my sound like I'm cheering for Goons , but I'm not. I've shot at more Goons than the average null player has (in Atlas, IT, -A-, Raiden, and then NCDot). It would be nice if the goon/test haters could do more than shoot off their mouths on the forums (the game gives us guns, why not shoot at the people we think are A-holes lo).
