this is essentially a cut & paste between myself an a corpmate, but the recent flurry of activity - whilst wonderful - does kind of beg the question, "...what the hell have they been doing all this time?"

yes, I know their efforts were perhaps a little diffused due to their efforts on other games but seriously, they are making SO MANY little changes that it kind of feels like they have been doing nothing for a while and just got discovered.

it reminds me a little of the old joke where a priest runs into the Pope's chambers in the Vatican and says, "Jesus just turned up - he is outside - what should we do?"

And the Pope says, "Look busy!"

It feels somewhat like Jesus just turned up at the CCP office...

Either way, I'm not complaining, just curious :)

* way more people assigned to FiS.
* good timing with some big code changes made before, allowing more nice things
* objectives modified to please the community on short term
