So with CFC about to complete it's conquest of Fountain will they have the same hold over r64s as they did with Tech?

Well I believe control of R64 moons was one of the driving factors behind the war, but there are likely to be huge stockpiles of R64's already in hangars around the universe so I don't think we'll see any massive price hikes very soon.

I could be wrong, but I believe the spread is greater than with Tech. Fountain just had more than they had in their area, so they took that too.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

While the CFC will control a good number of R64 moons, they will not be able to manipulate the price like they did with Tech. Tech was a single moon mineral in a single region of space. Fountain has 4 moon minerals that are spread across the galaxy. The only way to be able to manipulate the price would be to hold all the R64 moons in New Eden. If they were to attempt to withhold some of the moon minerals in an effort to attempt manipulation then their enemies would enjoy higher prices as they sat on the moon minerals. That isn't very profitable.

My suggestion will be to hold on to what you have and wait. If you have the funds, buy as much as you can. CFC may one day control null.

Certainly not is the way they did with tech. There is too much r64 on too many moons spread all over. Not too mention that alchemy caps the max price a lot. The tech market showed that when CCP added alchemy. Maybe ice, but I haven't looked at where the ice fields are in NS/LS....

Alchemy produced moon mats cap price is based off the price of ice and we all know where the price of ice is going Big smile
