If it weren't for selling PLEX in-game I'd never play Eve, it would be too much like a job. But I wish there was a tad more bonus to buying lots of PLEX in one go, because losing lets say 1.5B on a few battleships in a month can be expensive (that's a full regular game you can play for ten years if you want to). Bought 28 a month ago and I'm down to 22, and I've not lost any ships yet.
I also wish the skills everyone must train (like armor HP, shield HP, agility etc) came included in the price of the game, because its a really expensive game when you put PLEX on top of subscription on top of training for months on end until you can be barely useful in fleet-engagements (you need enough skills to be able to jump into whatever fit your FC requires, ideally).

Unfortunately for many people EVE quickly becomes a second job where PLEX is "food" and if you don't make enough isk to afford food each month you will starve and die!

Think of buying PLEX as paying someone else to mine for you. You get ~500 million ISK without having to do any in-game work, they get to play the game for free. In the end, you paid slightly more than double, so CCP actually makes more money from PLEX.
