Giving HICs A New Role In 0.0 Vs Nullified T3s

HICs are a rare sight in 0.0 used as either Capital Lockdown or Cynobait....

I propose a change that would allow HICs with T2 Warp Disruption Sphere Generators Fitted (with Bubble up of course) to Counter Interdiction Nullifiers on T3 Cruisers.

In my opinion this could make 0.0 alot more interesting and with the amount of Cloaky Nullified T3s around scouting etc could make things very interesting adding a single HIC to your roaming gangs, of course we all know HICs are big and slow so it would also be a risk to put these in your roaming gang so I see a win, win situation here.

Looking for suggestions and comments....

***EDIT: I would like too stress this only is for HICs and NOT! DICs

I like the idea...just don't like you! In fairness that would make 0.0 a little bit more interesting, and HIC's could get screwed aswell.

Cloak nullified haters are the same hating afk cloak.

Remove nullified sub doesn't change a crap about the ability of those ships to move away without you being able to catch them, reccons/bombers already do this and are less of a problem.

Just train for them use them and stop moaning.

Huh.. Im not moaning I dont even fly a HIC, I fly Cloaky Nullied T3s....

You would still be able to cloak but you would need to burn out of the Bubble to get away if it was a T2 HIC Bubble this could make things alot more interesting IMHO!

Your opinion isn't very constructive but thanks anyway

Indeed I'm not very constructive because I actually don't see much of a problem with those or at least what I see as problem with those is that you don't see a single fleet around without cloak nulli COMMAND SUB T3's which are the majority of cloak nulli ships around.

I can fly them all and have those subs on my hangar but all of my T3's are fit with something else than nulli subs, except avoid bubbles brings nothing to the ship and you even loose slots + give away too much for that single bble ability easy to counter anyway.
When you know what you're doing with cloak/mdw trick you don't need that sub, except the very situational big gate camp with cans all over the place but doesn't matter it's nulli or not, once decloak any ceptor will get on top of you asap/point and you'll die anyway nulli or not.

Imho this nulli/cloak thing is a false perception based on the inability of some players to do what it takes to get them.

Drop cans, problem solved.

I'll even give you a tip, drop BM copies all over the place, it's not an exploit and you will then complain those guys fit a mwd and rush back to the gate while you get aggression timer on them.

That wouldn't make sense given that the nullifier subsystem is "immunity from all non-targeted interdiction".

The problem I would see is that there would be no way of telling if the HIC has T1 or T2 bubbles, maybe make the anti-nullifier bubble a new module (that requires L5 bubbling skill, whatever that's called...) that works the same way but is a different color, that way its distinguishable from normal bubbles.

Too keep it from being overpowered, I think it should only stop nullified subsystems, otherwise the other bubble modules would become OP.

Just for the record I don't think this is the way to "fix" the cloaky/nulli T3.

"non targeted interdiction" = bbles but not a dime in hell it's immune to disruptors or scrams, sebo ceptors at the gate at pop range with cans all over the place and assigned drones can easily uncloak everything you might think about and with ceptor sensor I can tell you the guy is pointed before it can hit whatever button, once is decloak its decloak and will die if you have the numbers.

Now, expecting to pop cloak nulli T3's wit a single T1 frigate or assault frigate doing ceptor job, a couple cruisers not even at the gate but on perches, a cloak pilgrim or rapier again not at the gate and not sebo, no cans at the gate and whatnot....

A gate camp is something that should require preparation and thinking, because players are lazy doesn't mean nulli sub is op by any means.

I agree with this is not a solution or anything to do with fixing cloaky/nulli its just a change to mechanics to make things abit more interesting to those who think fielding a large slow T2 cruiser to their fleet.

Also the *New* Bubble Launcher with a different colour is also a good idea, as HICs have cycle times on Bubbles with only 1 up at a time this would not make it just a matter of bubble up and win... You could dual bubble fit your HIC 1x Normal Bubble for all ships except Nullified, and 1x Nullified Bubble... Remember that a HIC is around 400mill fitted and rigged so its not a matter of just throwing them into fleets for the sake of it to catch Nullified T3s its a calculated risk and it does **** for DPS especially Dual Bubble fitted.

Much better idea:

Introduce new t2 capital ship capable to deploy t3 bubble, this will scramble all kind of ships including t3 and disable cloacking.

This cap ship should be cost about 5-6 bil isk and require lvl 5 carrier and dreadnought skills.
