I would like to do the Caldari L4 Epic Arc to get my grubby paws on the Hyasyoda Mobile Laboratory, I did a bit of research on it, but eve-survival doesn't have all the missions listed ...

Could I do it (well, the combat missions at least) in a Raven/Scorpion Navy Issue with mostly T2/Cal Navy modules ?

Any recommended fittings ? MJD/MWD ?.?

Please help P

t2 fit cruise raven worked fine for me. warp in at range whenever possible. You'll also need a covops for a significant portion of this arc.

If I recall, you're going to want some FoF missiles and/or drones. The jamming on one of the final missions is... impressive.

Alas, I'm not able to fly a Tengu yet, and won't be for quite some time ... won't the Medium weapon systems be a bit short for killing Battleships tough ?

I'm a fan of the "more gank is less tanking needed" philosophy Big smile

If you haven't done epic arc missions before, be warned that the DPS is significantly higher and there will be more scrams/webs than normal. The scrams and webs are often on cruisers, which don't pop as easily as web/scram frigs in normal missions.

I finished caldari epic arc yesterday in my faction fitted passive rattlesnake.
I had to warp out once on one mission when I reached 25% shield and I had to warp out several times on the last mission I took called The Price of silence. It had pretty insane dps so I had to warp out like 5 times.
I can say I did not have any big problems tho, most of the missions are easy in this ship...just sit, deploy sentries, fire cruises and watch everyone die.
I finished also amarr epic arc in this ship few days before, I think I did not need to warp out from any of those missions.
Most of the missions has got some scramming frigate, but if you do your homework and take them out first, its a piece of cake.
btw I havent received faction standings after completing any of those epic arcs, I have petitioned it and waiting for answer.

Hmm, I guess I'll use my Navy Scorpion then, the resistance bonuses and 8 mids will guarantee a strong tank, and it's already fitted to Rigor rigs ...

SNI will be great for the high DPS missions, but you will want something faster for the easy ones.

I did most of it with a MWD drake, a few missions with a cov-ops frigate, And only needed a mission fit Raven for a few on the harder ones. Generally it was pretty easy. pay attention though, it can get out of hand very quickly if you do not.

Last I checked the hysayoda mobile lab was only worth about 250M not close to 1B like it used to be.
