C1 WH and "ore" sites

We have just set up a small pos in a C1 Wormhole, to try out the wormhole life. For the past couple of days we've had 4 "ore" anomalies, the ones you can warp to without scanning with probes. Is that normal, that a C1 contains that many? And will they stay there forever until they're mined out or do they disappear?

Warping to them starts a timer for them to disapeer.and spawning is fairly random.

Ore sites show up without needing to be probed (most do don't know about all, haven't probed out ore sites since the change..

Eitherway. When you (or anybody) warps to the site, a timer starts. 3 days later, poof.

Yaay!!!!

we have averaged 1-2 ore sites regularly since the expansion. If you want to start their timer then warp too them and then a 3 day clock starts. They despawn after that. You can mine them, but WH security is a PITA for miners.

It's not worth even considering:

- It's dangerous, like in very
- Logististics are a pain with as little mass as in a c1
- Unless you compress it with a rorqual.
- The ROI of building a Rorqual in a c1? Damn....

Wormholes have the best accoustics. It's known. - Sing it for me -

you would have to do some serious mining to make a Rorq have a high ROI...then you throw up a flag and say "Miners to shoot over here". Not to mention log offskies hoping to catch the Rorq out of the POS. Might as well put a bullseye on your back...well a bigger one anyway :)

The last one I lived in had up to 5 ore sites at a time. It's not worth mining the ore but if you warp to it, the timer will start, causing the sleepers to spawn shortly there after. The sleepers will respawn at down time each day as far as I was able to tell, so it is a good potential source of nanoribbons.

Shouldn't you be asking a question about small pos's?

Don't ban me, bro!

With the SMAs not dropping at the moment, is anyone going to do a serious POS bash in a C1? In different circumstances, I would agree with you though.

Nope. Sleepers usually don't respawn in ore/gas sites. I've only seen them respawn a couple times, and that was after a special downtime...server crash or something like that.

I knew they didn't respawn at gas sites but I've also jumped into ore sites on their second day and found sleepers when I shot them the day before. Guess it was just a fluke. Thanks for the info.
