Ahoi,

is there any reason the Navy Scorp doesent get the slight scanres Bonus most other Navy Variants get?
75 is just awfully low, and considering she took quite a hit from the Nerfbat when Shieldresis got lowered,
the Navy Sorcp imho too deserves a buff in terms of sayd Scanres, some aligntime (she was left out when most BSes
got their aligntime reduced, same as the Rattle wich could be slightly faster.) and prolly even a few m/s, to bring her in
line with the majority of Navy Variants (The CNR gets 20mm Res and 10m/s topspeed compared to the standard
Variant, for example.).

...at least shes got the well deserved 5th low slot now. ~~

regards moon

/edit: And lets not forget about the navy Domi, she doesent get any speed or scanres over the standard one neither.

Because of it's incredibly huge tank and DPS?

I mean 8 mid slots and a resit bonus? Use one of those mids for a sensor booster and you've still got 25% more tank than a CNR.

its dps isnt really huge, in fact you trade 20% tank vs 20% dps compared to sayd cnr.
i dont see why it shouldnt be comparable in other terms...
(again, the cnr gets 10m/s and 20mm scanres over the standard raven, same as quite most others. why isnt that allso true for the scorpion?)

/edit: and since the cnr gets 7 meds nowadays, only without the need to fit a sebo, having 8 slots dosent get you any meaningful advantage that would justify the lost 300dps if you compare "casual" fits...

really?
thats so good for a person with half a brain... -.-

@topic: i still think the cns's got an unjustified low scanres for a navy bs(lowest of them all afaik).

If that is what you, the voting public demand, then your request will be given due consideration.

On the other hand making people feel bad for whining for changes to already extremely powerful ships based on a false premise that they could have trivially checked themselves and which makes it very obvious that they havent even tried using it is a longstanding CSM duty which I am homoured to fulfill.

Back on topic, the Navy Scorp is an extremely powerful ship, and calls to improve it still further will not gain much if any traction. I note that the Jita Price was still over 530M as of last night.

my alt can run every lvl 4 mission with a pure 27k buffer tank dishing out 774dps not including drones or heat. not a shabby ship at any lvl...

Pretty sure you can get more missile DPS out of it - T2 launchers? 4 BCUs?

Flown both the CNR and SNI, I'd take the SNI for lvl's over the CNR any day. To be fair, locks times on BS's are so long that the second or two difference in lock times is barely noticeable when it already takes 30 seconds to lock a ship. If it's lock and speed are so bad, add a afterburner and a scan res mod, it's not like it doesn't have enough mid slots.

IMO, SNI is great as it is,
