greyed-out loot spews

Anyone else having trouble with all the loot spews being greyed out and untouchable?

Am I doing something wrong? Never had this trouble b4 today....

It is frustrating to go through the annoying little minigame and then being unable to access anything... my ship just tries to approach them... no tractor beam etc.

It seems like the tractor's range is 3km max...? I only get greyed spews at the end of a spawn, once stuff has wandered a bit.

nope, these were greyed out from the beginning of the spew. Don't know why, i just finished hacking so i must have been in range for awhile.....

using Mac, but i don't think that's a problem....

Are you sure you were in range at the start? You did not bounce off the structure and were out of range? And its not the Mac. I use one and have no issue with the loot spew.

Sometimes I would get lag on a loot spew (I assume it's lag, I can't think of any by-design reason for it to happen). All I can do is sit there and watch all the loot float away because my clicks won't register. My solution was to stop exploring entirely and do absolutely anything else in the game for fun.
