Hi folks!

I'm looking for a corporation to join. Details are below - please take the time to read them thoroughly.

When I'm not in space, I'm a 23 year old website developer, designer and computing enthusiast from Northern Ireland. I'm married, own a house and play Magic: the Gathering at a competitive level. My time zone is UTC±00:00.

Here's what I'm looking for:

• PVP. PVE doesn't interest me. Give me something to shoot at and a purpose for doing it.


• Null security space (I may consider other regions).


• English.


• A laid back and relaxed atmosphere. This doesn't mean I won't take the game mechanics seriously, but I play games for fun; not to be berated and yelled at. Polite, constructive criticism and debate is welcomed and, in fact, needed if I am to develop into a successful pilot.


• Maturity. It's natural to get frustrated, but I simply won't put up with drama or abuse. I'm fine with swearing - just not at each other.


• No or little time requirements. My "real" life is active and I will not let this game turn into a second job - I've done the hardcore MMO life before (5 hours per night, 5 nights per week) and it became a chore, not a hobby. I'll contribute and play as much as I can, but this will vary wildly depending on real-life circumstances - some times I might be on-line all day and night, others only for 5 minutes just to modify my skill queue. You will have to accept this. That said, if there's something important planned, with enough advance notice, I can probably make it. Similarly, if there's a set schedule (for example, every Friday night @ 19:00) that should be fine.


• Advice. I'm new to the game, but I'm passionate about it and eager to learn. I need skilled and knowledgeable people to help me accomplish this.

My plans for the game:

My character is a Gallente pilot. My account is a few weeks old, but truly most of that time has been spent conducting research and planning out my skills and future. I am looking forward to investing effort into this game as it enters its second decade of existence.

I am specialising in the Amarr Battleship, the Apocalypse. My intention is to use its long range capabilities to create a powerful sniping platform. Despite only having just over 1M (update: now 2.2M) skill points, I can already pilot the ship with Tech 1 weaponry. I am currently learning the core skills necessary to pilot and fit it effectively. After that I will be learning the skills required for Tech 2 weaponry and the rest of the fitting skills I require to complete my ideal vessel. This entire plan will take a further 100 days. While I'm willing to adapt to fit into a corporation, the above is my chosen play style and I am eager to find a team that can accommodate this.
