After browsing pirate faction battleships. i noticed we got the whole 9 yards of turret base and drone/missile which is used more as a drone boat then missile boat.

When will their be a straight up Missile pirate faction battleship. Like a new designed ship like how mach and nightmare have their own unique designs.

yeah, i know some will say Never. in this post. but it strikes my curiostiy, when i see turret boats, half drone and half missile boat.

But a actuall pirate faction Missile boat be ober awesome.

Yeah, we're missing a faction combination too... I think Caldari / Minmatar? That would be a perfect pirate missile platform.

It be nice to see a ship composed of the 4 races a battleship platform of Caldari,Minmatar,Amarr,Gallante.
Kinda like the Gnosis idea but Pirate Faction Version.

That can eathier be fitted with Missiles,Railgun,Blastor,Pulse,Beam,Auto,Artty, And even a Way to upgrade it to be a drone Platform. sure we got the domi, rattlesnake. but a ship made out of all 4 races be kinda cool giveing you a choice on how you want to fit it.

Armor tanked with shield resist bonus, 6 launcher slots, and tracking bonus for drones?

Stupidity should be a bannable offense.

They are missing more than one:

I see the following missing:

Primary | Secondary

1. Gallente | Amarr
2. Gallente | Caldari
3. Caldari | Minmitar
4. Minmitar | Amarr
5. Minmitar | Caldari
6. Amarr | Caldari
7. Amarr | Gallente

The nightmare is the only Pirate Faction Battleship that has a frame that is not racial to the four main races. In most cases the Primary race is the style choice and the secondary plays some part in overall performance. That means there are seven gaps to fill, and there are lots of weapon system gaps as well.

When looking at weapon systems there are seven types of weapon systems:

1). Energy Management Weapons
2). Hybrid
3). Laser
4). Missiles
5). Projectile
6). Bombs
7). Drones

That means there are a possible 49 different weapon configurations, or most likely 28 effective combinations. Lets look at what we have already:

Name of Ship | Primary/Secondary

1. Bhaalgon | EMS/EMS
2. Vindicator | Hybrid/EMS
3. Nightmare | Laser/Laser
4. Machariel | Projectile/Projectile
5. Rattlesnake | Drones/Missiles

The question than is: There are 7 ships missing and 23 weapon configurations missing. Lets play a game. Make a ship combination that would add something to the mix. Here is the matrix chart:

Here are some suggestions:

Amarr / Caldari - Missile/Missile (like a RNI - but different)
Gallente / Amarr - Drone/Laser ( Like a Rattlesnake - but different)
Gallente / Caldari - Hybrid/Hybrid (Hyperion/Rokh mishmash)

actually, there are two races with non conventionnal hulls, angels (machariel??) and sansha, and some others also have special hulls, dardevil (serp), cruor and ashimu (blood raiders)

also, you are plain wrong about the vindi, it uses hybrid + bonused webb, no neuts!

actually, caldari / matar would be logical, for a missile boat... but yea, we miss those two combination, which could result in pretty interesting ships imao...


caldari / matar would be a fast shield missile boat, maybe like a macha with missiles (but no no to the macha being transformed to amissile boat Evil)

for the Gallente / amarr, the hull should be amarr base, with armor tank indeed, but for the weapons....

The rattlesnake is a drone boat with missiles, not a missile boat with drones.
To make the Rattlesnake effective, you'd need to train missile AND drone skills, where all the others don't really require this ( as a primary weapon system ).
