AS with everything else in Eve all these ships have their advantages and disadvantages, I would recommend you to skill Gallente and Caldari first.

I have them both, blasters maxed and missiles maxed
Caldari is possibly the shittest thing in eve imo, blasters are ok but i dislike getting too close, being neuted to **** and some other stuff

But seriously caldari is pathetic

You didn't say you don't like caldari. You said they are possibly the shittiest thing in eve and pathetic.

There is a big difference between you don't like to fly caldari ships and caldari ships being bad or "******"

T3s arent rebalanced yet.

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

I don't think you even remotely got an idea what to skill, and i'm not here to tell you which is the way to go of these 2.
But i will show you how ... stupid your question actually is.

You are able to fly a Proteus and a Tengu. Therefore i assume you have good core skills and are capable of shield as well as armortanking. You also have somewhat decent gunnery as well as missile skills.

Tech 3 ships are modular, and each of their modules needs one skill, preferably to level V. Each of those skills is a rank 1.

Which leads to the following conclusion:

Within 30 days of skilltraining your skills allows you to fly max-bonused Lokis AND Legions. From there on it's only a matter of the weapon systems. And bringing your energy weapon skills to medium pulse spec is a question of another three weeks, same for autocannons and artillery, assuming you don't have any skills there yet.

And you really have to ask which one is the right choice?

Oh, i forgot to think of your minmatar / amarr cruiser skills.

But seriously, why would someone have 2 Tech 3s skilled without all racial cruisers V first?

i say the legion because of its graphics Lol (dont have one yet, im looking forward to it in the future)

i just cannot get over to the looks of the loki, the proteus on the other hand, looks acceptable, same for the tengu....

@Srs bznss
I have good supports (Nearly maxed, I'm only a 20m or so SP char though so no miracles)

I'm going to train for Ahac + T3 of the chosen race, Muninns and Zealots are equally used by the groups I pvp with, But I intended to get a T3 to go alongside it

I thought the time between training for one race or another was larger though, so I guess I'll just train for one straight after the other, I still have a lot to learn :P

Thanks for that though bro... you answered my questions and this thread no longer needs to exist :D
And I have Caldari cruiser to 4 now, I left EVE for a year and when I came back I had 4m sp more than last time, so I died like a peanut on a ganked roam and lost Caldari cruiser 5 and the ability to fly a falcon/tengu >_>

HACs are a work in progress....Rise promised a revised thing later this week.

Zeal, Munnin and Vaga are all decent

Loki > Legion except in a couple limited circumstances. Loki is arguably the best all around T3 if you have the skills to back it up.

Loki has web range bonus (potentially) making it a lot easier to prevent yourself getting hard tackled and while I can't really speak to its damage output with a covops fit never having put one together myself, I imagine it MUST be better than the Legion on damage.

The Legion's covops subsystem has only a laser cap use bonus and so becomes a hull with no damage bonuses whatsoever, it's horrible. Legion is for fleets with Guardian backing where you go look at my tiny signature and my massive EHP and resists, break me if you can.

For skirmishing types of engagments like you're talking about the Loki wins easily. Seriously the Legion Covops subsystem is so bad that I'm actually crying right now IRL because you made me think about it.

Reality has an almost infinite capacity to resist oversimplification.
