Perhapps problem with bonus application

Hi all

I would know if it's normal to have rate of fire 6.77 s for a missile launcher Tech 2 which have rate of fire base 16.54 s in a raven with battleship lvl 5 (bonus : 5% rate of fire by level for missile cruiser and torpedoes).

I've those skills :

Missile launcher operation lvl 5 : - 10% rate of fire
Rapid launch lvl4 : - 12 % rate of fire
Cruise missile specialization lvl 4 : - 8% rate of fire
Large bay loading accelerator II : 15 % rate of fire
Zainou 'deadeye' rapid launch RL-1003 : -3 % rate of fire
1 BCS II : 10.5 % (i forgot it)

for a total bonus of 69 % i think that i would have to be near 5.13 s not 6.77 s
If someone can help me to understand Shocked, i appreciatP

Well I know the bonuses aren't added, but are multiplicative. I don't remember how rigs, implants and skills mix with stacking penalties though and don't see the point of doing manual calculations, since fitting programs do it for you.

Skills (including the ship bonus since it's skill based) are calculated like this:

16.54 sec * 0.75 * 0.9 * 0.92 * 0.92 = 9.45 sec

No idea how the rigs and implants are supposed to work in that equation. Like miss SkillQueue said use them fitting tools.

You made a miscalculation there since Rapid Launch gives you 3% ROF per level so this should be 12%. This doesn't solve your calculations ofcourse since the actual time is even lower this way.

You made a miscalculation there since Rapid Launch gives you 3% ROF per level so this should be 12%. This doesn't solve your calculations ofcourse since the actual time is even lower this way.

It's actually even more mysterious, since EFT says, that a cruise raven with an all level V pilot, the implant and the rig gets a ROF of a little above 7s. Maybe he has BCSII fitted and didn't bother to mention it.

Modules with +10% rate of fire will increase the time instead of decreasing it... Nah kidding, tbh I think it's merely a lack of consistency
