The best place to ask for an all female corp is in the WGOE (Women Gamers of EVE) channel.
As far as i know there is no female only corp at the moment, but its fully possible there is some lurking around in there that im not aware off.

For more information about WGOE please read this link (a bit outdated but the public channel and general idea is the same).
http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/WGoE

I will also forward this link to the WGOE forums so some might contact you if they know about one Smile

There is also a pirate corp called hellcats run by a well known EvE player called Minxie.

Be aware there is an audio interview to weed out the fella trolling as girls.

hellcats is the only serious attempt at making an all-female corp I know of. If one currently exists Mintchip would probably be a good person to ask.

When people theme their corp on silly, irrelevant things that'll tend to happen a lot.

That would actually be my primary reason for second-thoughts in joining such a corp, the existence of an RL-based theme is a big red flag of people taking stuff too seriously, and people that take stuff too seriously are preferred targets for tear-farming even if they aren't profitable targets otherwise.

Well having personally observer how stupidly men behave when there's female player on channels, im not surprised they don't advertise their presence so much.

And no, im not female. I just feel sorry for everyone that is. In that regards EvE is very typical online game. Sad This game needs more players and we men are seriously not making it easy for CCP to get them.

I have no idea what difference sex would make in an internet spaceship game, also haven't noticed any difference on TS chatter quality whether there are females on or not.

Maybe I've just been privileged to play with mature people?

I've been lucky so far. Have only been treated in what I would call a poor fashion once, and that was in an NPC corp channel on one of my alt characters when I encountered someone else who said she was female IRL and we were chatting (some guy broke into the discussion and was a real jerk). In all other times I've tried to "lay low", because my gender does not make a difference in how I play this game.

The most awkward moments so far have been when I have first joined in on comms in the player corps I have been in, but both times the guys have gotten used to me quickly.

I wouldn't join an all-female corp because of the reasons others have stated and as I have said: I see no reason to draw attention to myself that way. But I have no problem with what others choose to do, of course!

Idd, you can only call their behavior pathetic and I personally am embarrassed about it.

Still isn't this discrimination? Would be considered sexist if a male corp would do this. CCP has pretty strict rules as far as racism and sexism are concerned.

In regards to attracting new players. There is a large group of players in EVE Online who seem to think they are superior and that it is ok to treat young pilots like outcasts, unworthy of a kind word and who somehow deserve to be bullied at every turn at whatever they try to find their path.
This is standard 4th grade behavior (bully the new guy) and I believe it a major factor in the slowing down of growth. We have a lot more subscriptions then 5 years ago so through word of mouth alone we should be growing a lot faster now.
Treat others like you would like to be treated.. We were all new once.. New people have a lot to add to this game and keep the balance. And pvpers, by not giving new players time to develop and find their way, you insure that a lot of them will never return to low and null to pvp again, so ease off once in a while.

Personally, I act little different online then I do RL so I keep wondering what makes otherwise normal, albeit a bit less intelligent people change into absolute morons once they turn on their PC ..?

Good luck finding a corp OP o/

I can't disagree, the way women are treated in the majority of MMO's is frankly embarrassing. Even GSF run a female exclusive subgroup called The Sirenswarm run by females, exclusively for females.

But before you ask, they're still goons so they're still horrible people who supposedly RMT and ruin your game and all the other ****. Pirate
