BurnBit.com provides a download to torrent service. It creates a torrent file with the webseed as the first seeding peer.

WHY TORRENT?
It verifies the integrity of every piece of data it downloads. This ensures that your download isn't corrupted. If a piece fails it just replaces that piece. Also if CCP updates a file your download will stop since the file is no longer available on the website but a torrent will download the rest from other players who have downloaded the game.

HOW IT WORKS:
1. Burnbit bit downloads the file and produces a hash table for each of the pieces. This is used to verify the data. It then puts up a torrent file for download.
2. Players start downloading pieces.
3. Once a player has a piece they can begin seeding that piece to other players.
4. Very quickly many players are sharing the download between each other. If CCP stops hosting the file then it will still be available from the torrent as long as there is at least one person seeding.

NOTE: IF THE BURNBIT WEBSITE SAYS THE FILE IS BURNING AND GIVES YOU A TIMER JUST WAIT UNTIL THE TIMER EXPIRES. ITS STILL DOWNLOADING THE FILE FOR THE FIRST TIME. IT ONLY DOES THIS ONCE.
