I found plexing in all plexes will eventually get you plex but the plexes that get plex faster are the plexes that are oplexes.

If a dplex is already plexed then plex a different plex for plex.
Dplexers do get plexes but plex more plexes for their plex.



So the time it takes varies due to the type of plexes being plexed and the price of plex.

I usually try explaining complicated economic concepts like opportunity cost. I've had mixed results in educating them, though. A fair number will decloak and warp off before I can finish. Even the ones who stay don't score very well on the test.

Maybe I'm not a very good teacher.

It's probably not because you are not a very good teacher. Several factors play into the cat-and-mouse game between cloaky plexers and those of us that hunt them. The short-term cost effectiveness, where cost would be measured in time ticking down on a plex, versus the long-term cost analysis of the plexer, which we might not be fully aware of, makes it difficult to ascertain the true motivations of cloaky plexers. Some might place more value on 'tears', whether actual or perceived, they can harvest while cloaked. Others might place more value on putting pressure on a system. While others could be our brothers/sisters in arms farming LP on an alt in an opposing faction. Best not to over-think it. Pirate
