Hey guys, i'm new to the game but i was just wondering if the Tranquility server was up? because my launcher won't connect.
Any info would be amazing :)

You sure it isn't occupied downloading a patch? (loading bar at the bottom)

If your launcher has already downloaded and installed all updates, you should be able to connect.

Not easy to provide you the good answer without more information, eventually post a screenshot of your launcher once you click "Play" (hide PW and nick with whatever paint or photoshop), did you dl the right client etc?

Your launcher version should be v.2.1.571330 for windows client version (can someone else confirm this plz?)

Thread about launcher and possible solutions/workarounds for you.

Yeah it is on the current one and everything is up to date, even run the repair tool which did nothing. And my launcher won't get to the play screen, it just looks like this http://tagn.files.wordpress.com/2013/06/eveofflinemode.jpg (not my pic)

Gonna check if I can find another way to update it and I'll edit this post see if I can help you out.

You still have another way to launch your game thou, open your Eve folder and search Eve.exe file, double click and you should be able to play then unless some other nasty thing going on.

EDIT: click the link I've posted above and try out the workaround solution Meritsa posted, follow exactly all steps and everything should be ok after.

Indeed, as Ranger posted below chek out your anti virus/firewall and create exceptions for eve.exe and the launcher, if you have them already we probably need some more info about your ISP connection (personal/home, hosting etc maybe you're trying to connect from some place it doesn't aloud you to log to CCP servers etc)

This.

It looks like something is blocking your connection to the login server. Could be something with your ISP, or possibly your own firewall if you made any changes recently I suppose.

I've just finished a reinstall and it seems to be working ok now. Cheers for the help though guys, no idea what went wrong
