New player not even at the 1 mil SP mark yet. Currently in a Caracal( well was but went on a roam 2 days ago and got my butt handed to me and my corp mates, but hey was still alot of fun) But i am gonna go back into my Caracal and have been doing L2 security missions but the pay out seems lacking to me, is there anything else that i could be doing with better profits. Im focusing combat on this pilot and mostly on small and med sized hulls cause we all know bigger is not always better. Should i just keep down my current course and train til i can get in a drake and go to 3's? Just curios and any feed back would be great.

You could buy a plex. Saves you a lot of hours of grinding or losing more ships exploring. You can try FW but other then that really not much to do but missions till you get those skills up.

You could do some hauling contracts but they don't pay well either for small loads and distances without collateral and require you to train hauling skill.

Reopen the EVE gate so we can invade Serenity. Goons can go first.

I did buy a PLEX so i mean im sitting on some cash. But when it comes to PVP im not a solo guy, never have been in any other game i have played, so on days were not roaming i am trying to find something profitable to keep my wallet gaining. May have to buy some cheap frigs and fit em and fly around low sec a bit get my feet a bit more wet.

Well, you could join a corp that is new pilot friendly and does both. They will let you tag along in ISK making activities and combat roams. That way you have a bit of both. Have a look at who is recruiting ingame in the corporation tab and here on the forums.
