Gila fell of the price cliff - Stealthy nerf?

I've been looking to get in a Gila for a while and since the price is at an all time low I guess now is the time.

I'm certainly not complaining about getting it cheap, but as the price just took a deep and sudden dive I wonder if there is something I have missed?
Did it get a sneaky change, or did its peers get buffed?

Someone please enlighten me, as I am confused.

either someone just cashed in their gurista LPs or people realize as a doctrine it isnt that good.

Gila fleet(no ******* idea what cat name it is) when caught dies horribly. Then again as a long range drone assist dps platform it works.

Prices spiked as it was used. Now that it is not used as much it will return to the 140m-180m range.

If you look here and enter 600 days in the history will you see that it had a previous high and is now only coming down to a normal price.

Check the Tritanium history for the last 600 days for a comparison. You will see that the Gila's sell price had climbed only with the beginning of this year and for reasons other than mineral prices, probably because of fights during the Christmas and New Year holidays. Two months later was there a second and similar spike in the sell price.

So no stealth nerf or price cliff, but a bouncing back of the sell price.

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

Thanks, that was helpful. I didn't know about that site either, it's great to be able to look back more than a year.

It looks like the price does jump up and down a bit, it might even make sense to get an extra for selling later.

Drone boats becoming less popular with anom/mission runners? Possibly due to extra drone aggro everywhere which is a pain in the arse for drone boats.

Gila actually got nerfed.

In odyssey all resist bonus ships got moved from +5% per level to +4% per level. Since this was only think making gila better than ishtar the price drop can be expected.

Navy Vexor probably got in its way too.

I expect that the myrmidon's buff didn't help the gila out any either. For that matter it wouldn't surprise me if the prophecy cut out a few gila customers, potential or otherwise, from the mix.

The Gila did get nerfed a bit - its passive shield tanking abilities went from silly to merely damn good - so it sounds about right that its asking price is roughly on par with the Ishtar's. The Gila holds more drones, and it's a bit easier to skill into, but the Ishtar's got better control range and more tanking options, plus its turrets make a more effective secondary weapon system than the Gila's missiles, so I suppose it's a push.

T1 and navy cruisers got their rebalance asskick lately, Pirate ones will get their own probably this winter so it's a bad assumption to think this ship becomes unworthy over Navy Vexor or Ishtar (after rebalance).

For the moment yes, lost some of his interest but better bet on the long term imho.
