Im in the Plagio field in CLDR (Caldari Lai Dai Refinery) trying to get me a miner to complete the mission. some old forum posts mention about an hour for a spawn of a Maniac Cruiser which contains said miner.

Is it still so or did the respawn rate change and getting the bonus is only possible if you have the isk to purchase them?

The trick with the Cosmos missions is to collect the items first before accepting the mission offer whenever possible.

After completing one part of a multi-part mission series, the next part will basically be offered automatically and listed in the journal. You can then view the mission details without accessing the agent, allowing you time to hunt down the required item.

The mission offer will stay in your Journal for 7 days. Hopefully that will allow you time to find the item before you actually have to accept the mission. After accepting the mission, you have another 7 days to complete it. Of course the bonus reward time is much shorter and usually contains the Storyline BPC.

If you haven't found the item before the mission offer timer expires, probably best to just buy the item from contracts, then accept the mission and complete it in order to collect both the mission and bonus rewards..

Not really. I know I can buy the stuff off of contracts but that detracts from doing the missions.

What I am asking is... are people in the US Timezone screwed because things now only spawn once a day after downtime or if I sit in a plex for 6 hours eventually I will get one of three. The bonus of the mission is 5 hours hence no bonus is truly possible without wasting 50million isk on a contract from a player who happens to be on after downtime.

It was more geared toward respawn rates.

A lot of old pre-odyssey posts suggest once every hour or so... I sat in the field for 4 hours and the Maniac Cruiser never spawned.
