Just a quick question. Seen this ship in the Odyssey trailer and launcher; just wondering what it is. Looks pretty neat.

Ah, thanks. Stealth bomber...was hoping it'd be more of an exploration ship, unless you can fit a stealth bomber to do exploration too.

You can, but you'll lose those neat hacking benefits the cvops have. They are nice to have, especially if you hack in null.

Thats a Templar, the amarr fighter. Its a combat drone used by carriers.

You are probably a satisfied OP now. But please continue to investigate. Compare the atrocious agility on that cow to the other bombers. Why so bad you ask? Well you see past devs working on balance viewed the game through a racial backstory straightjacket. That is why your Nemesis and to a lesser extent the Purfier are meant to armor tank. Yes bombers are meant to tank, and even armor tank Roll. Because your Nemesis is blessed with so much more armor hp it surely must be less agile than the other bombers. Even more so once you strap a humongous 50mm plate, or small armor repper, to it and have fun tanking incoming damage like a bomber was meant to.P

There were a couple or more threads on the forums when the Nemesis redesign came out salivating over it's sexy looks. And it is perty. However, a nice dress alone will not prevent you from getting easily diddled if you aren't wearing underwear. Underwear on a bomber is agility. So please at every opportunity you get, like I am here P, let the devs know that you want better (or even some) underwear to make the pawing/fingering of your shiney a little more difficult.

fake edit - Ok at least the new rebalancing team appears to recognize battlefield role more than backstory in designing ship stats. "More" I say because we still get some of it. Hopefully when they get to tech II frigs the new balancing team will correct the mobility stats on the Nemesis to reflect its role, and there will not be so much racial dsiparity.

CCP, there are off buttons for ship explosions, missile effects, turret effects, etc. "Immersion" does not seem to be harmed by those. So, [u]please[/u] give us a persisting off button for the jump gate and autoscan visuals.

Why didn't they show the Sarum Magnate? They seem to give players one of those every month.

This would be funny, if it weren't the poster child (literally) for Odyssey. The Exploration Expansion that had less to do with exploration than anything else.

What you are seeing is a bare hull Nemesis, accompanying several other cov ops hackers as they enter a site.

Now the Nemesis is providing cover for the hackers, not by having weapons to fire back, but simply motoring towards the attackers in an attempt to clog their gun turrets with wreckage and corpses.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

They used a SB in the pic because apparently even ccp thinks the Helios is fugly.

Stealth Bombers are actually fairly fun to do exploration with...if you fit them to kill covert ops, which is your primary targets and competition in Null exploration. Think about it.
