The PvPers in eve have been under siege for years, not by each other (which they can mange) but rather by CCP because of the bleating of sheep in the game. We have been fighting each other, having fun but all the while seeing the original game be destroyed by the loud and incessant bleating of sheep wanting everything easy, quck and safe. In 10 years of this game CCP has successively knifed the 0.0 and pvp players in the back aggressively and with murderous intent driven by sheep that have no courage to defend themselves but seek game mechanisms to make their life easy. As a result, 0.0 is now a glorified arena, with few resources and nothing to balance off the risk.

Now I realize slaughtering sheep is not the challenge most of us have come to love but now we have to admit that we have a common enemy, the sheep and the devs. Its time the PvPers declare a truce and fight back against the sheep and CCP. I would call for a blockade of lowsec by pvp corps, the alliances that fly normally in 0.0. I would also call for an invasion of PvPers into high sec to make the life of the sheep miserable until such time as CCP finally addresses the issues of the 0.0 players that have been stated over and over again for 10 years.

Although I have no realistic expectation this will happen, it would be glorious. Imagine lowsec completely sealed off, a list of allainces and corps set to blue and the rest of the sheep cut off from their stupid level 4 missions and other lowsec BS. Imagine the pressure on high sec with thousands of experienced PvPers who will figure otu ways to make suicide ganking to an entirely new level. Imagine every high sec corp war deced by a massive group of expereinced PvPers. The asteriods in high sec might actually respawn for the first time in years. I would love it if the swarm would move from area to area war decing every corp in the area until they leave. In the meantime we put asside our differences, the big alliances can agree to cease POS warfare, leave borders where they are and direct their efforts to destroying high sec.

It would be glorious. And maybe it might actually work to get CCPs attention to the player base they have been shafting for 10 years.

You do realise, coming from a wormhole corp member who hates seeing high sec become WoW, that doing that will make it impossible for new players to...well, play. This'll result in less new subscriptions. (of course some people will still sub...but not as much). All you are doing is whining. I've been to nullsec in a brief stint in United Pod services. There is plenty of ore to go around if you fight for it...or in wormholes. Let the carebears keep high sec and ambush them when they come to your side of town (Low/Null sec).

So, you're right. This isn;t gonna happen. My advice is to stop whining and enjoy the ride or just stop playing if you aren't enjoying eve any longer and go play Planetside 2 or league of legends instead.

Sure, be the straw that breaks the carebear's back and forces CCP's hand .... to :totallysafehisec:. Simply smashing idea! Roll

On the bright side of that coin, there won't be any more "bleating" -- from you or them.

Normal people fear risk and failure more than they crave rewards. You can offer carrots galore: most won't care, and the remainder will care, right up until they meet the "risk" head-on. Then it's back to low-risk, whatever-reward activity. You can use the stick, sure, but it won't result in what you want, and eventually, they'll just quit anyway.

I think it's great idea. I think you should go a step further and boycott high-sec by staying out altogether (this includes your mining and mission-running alts, and trade hubs like Jita). Viva la independence!

How long do you plan that to last? Who's gonna bankroll it since every single ship kill will cost at elast 1 ship too. Not all kill would be profitable if you just shoot at everything.

Bad analogy. A better analogy would be that most people and businesses don't want to live or work in a free-fire zone. I think in Psychology 101, they call that "common sense."

Plus, gamers tend to play games to relieve stress, and gamers with jobs/families/lives tend to have a limited window of playtime, which further decreases the appeal of low-sec.

In short, low-sec is too inconvenient for most players to bother with.

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

I get it. This is the part where we all concede your brilliance and shower you with adulations and offers of exotic dancers and copulation, right? Well, perhaps in your imagination. Big smile
The simple fact is that the carrot:stick analogy is the one CCP themselves use, and that most of us who write/converse about the subject of lowsec have come to use as well. Some people will never go to lowsec, no matter how many "carrots", and excessive use of the "stick" will just cause people to quit. That is, as you say, "common sense".

While we're on the subject of bad anal--ogies, that is, what a wonderful two-fer on phallus-ies: a non sequitur (limited window of playtime has what again to do with relieving stress?), and of course the implied straw man that one who lives in lowsec must by definition have hours of playtime, and thus be jobless, living in mom's basement, and without a "life" -- excepting perhaps "tear extraction".
Strangely enough, while I can't speak for the entirety of the lowsec-dwelling population, of the ones I do know well enough to know about their RL-lives, all are gainfully employed full-time -- I personally average about 60 hrs a week at work from late spring into fall.
Even stranger, these weird things called "full-time jobs" don't seem to interfere at all with any of our enjoyment of the game in lowsec. Perhaps there's something you could change, or, *gasp* dare I suggest it, that you are :doingitwrong: that hampers your enjoyment of the lowsec game?

Just some food for thought, but be sure to take small bites and chew thoroughly, I know it's a lil tough to swallow. P

So start a group and make it happen. If enough people agree with you, it will.

Why are so many of you in this community so disrespectful? You guys need to learn how to communicate with each other with a sense of decency. It's quite pathetic and shameful to see these sorts of responses, no offense. This doesn't apply to everyone, but enough of you...

Sorry but no...there would be nothing too do in EVE and in the long run EVE would become as interesting as WoW..

for 10 years.

If this is what a ten year goal looks like you need a reality check bro.
EVE isn't ******* real why not focus all that energy on real life ****?
You think you are entitled to something because you spent TEN YEARS of your life living out a spaceship fantasy?

The sense of entitlement is astounding it just spews from every line you typed.
I can tell just from the tone of the post you felt empowered while writing this out.
You felt like you are better then those hi sec players that have spoiled your fun.

CCP won't listen to your cries, that's why the game has gone in the direction it has fo the past ten years.
CCP is a business they are in it to make money, once that cash flow stops you bet your damn ass the servers go down.
The current state of EVE is the way CCP wants it, not because of the hi sec low sec wh or 0.0 people it's designed in such a way to keep a balance of people happy for increased profitability.

And what are you trying to accomplish here?
Is this just an other QQ I have no easy target thread? I mean I do not get the general purpose of this post.
I get the vibe that you sure do feel self entitled and that you think CCP "owes" you something.
But they do not, they nor anyone else owes you ****.
You may owe it to your self to take a break from EVE, find out what matters in life.

And whats with this sheep statement? Do you have a god complex over a videogame?
What issues do the 0.0 players have? You have access to all the dead space loot, The moon faucets, you have access to incursions. What issues do you speak of?
You mention level 4 missions as well as touch on mining. How have those effected you in such a way that it is game breaking to you?

You have not had a kill in over two years and you speak like you are some elite PVPer.
and why are you so concerned with the past 10 years when your character is 7 years old?
I think you have some mental issues and you might want to talk to someone about those problems.

And if by some chance you pulled this off (you don't stand a chance in hell) but if you did CCP would not change a damn thing about the game because you would have made them thousands of dollars in PLEX sales to fund such an operation, ALSO you would effectively drive down the cost of plex.

God that was good fun picking you apart like that.
0/10 for context
10/10 for the amount of butthurt you displayed here bravo.

so, youre unhappy about people not engaging with you in your corner of the sandbox, so your solution is to deny everyone access to your corner of the sandbox (even though part of your gripe is that they dont want to go there anyway) and then try to destroy the elements of the game that these people DO enjoy simply because you dont use those elements ? The high value content in the game is already mostly located in your corner, but thats not enough apparently. You want ALL the toys !!

That is, simply .... stunning.

Sense of Entitlement Much ?

Good Luck with this awesome plan of yours, I wish you well with all of the therapy you so obviously need.
