CCP do you know who are the customers?

We are now for many weeks in B-D Cloud Ring. CCP you told us, you follow the Players close.Instead we are getting heavy TiDi even with 50 pilots in system. That isn't funny for all sides in this war. When we get through the gate into J5A a lesser used system a miracle happens. Tidi is gone in J5A.

TiDi is working as intended. When the server is under heavy load, it goes into TiDi... that's a feature, not a bug or a glitch. Maybe you're new here, but the alternative used to be debilitating server lag (actual lag, not the carefully controlled time dilation), module failure, random disconnections, and node crashes.

B-D, or whatever system you have TiDi in with 50 pilots isn't alone on the server it runs on, and it won't be unless you fill out a fleet fight notification. There must be a heavy load elsewhere on the same node. If there actually isn't, then you can try filling out a bug report. Shitting all over the forums like a child isn't going to do anything.

TL;DR

Stop ******* whining.

Some enterprising players probably found out what node BD is on, and parked their alts in one of the other systems on the node.

So players have to deal with rubberbanding and worse, because this is a 2004 tech answer to one world.

You wouldn't have this frustration if you were mining in 1.0 in an out-of-the-way system.

When was the last time there was only 50 players in B-D? And about the lag: https://twitter.com/erlendur/status/356477254919929857 :

"All the other solarsystems on that node combined are 8% CPU, you would still see TiDi undocking 1200 people."

The amount of people in space don't matter much (unless they are shooting) - the amount of people logging in/docking/undocking/jumping in/jumping out are what's causing the heavy TiDi.

Yes, it sucks having to wait 10 minutes till you can join the fleet. But the technology doesn't seem to be available just now to ensure a better experience.

Please name another game where you have thousands of players all doing something at the same time in the same place on the same server, in real time.

I'd really like to know what other games have flawless performance under that kind of load.

It's easy to say things l;ike that when you don't have to pay for a better solution. Yes 1 node per system would be cool and stop big fight in system A fro causing TIDI in system B but that would also cost a metric ass ton of money.

It also isn't something that works. Jita is on its own reinforced node and it still hits 90% (10% slower than normal speed) TiDi fairly frequently. Hell, during Burn Jita, it got hit so hard CONCORD was shooting the wrong people.

Eventually, the capacity for players to crowd a system will outmatch any server's ability to process it.

Of copurse it's not perfect but Jita TIDI only affect Jita and no other system. That would technically be a gain. At a ******** cost but still a gain...
