So someone was kind enough to let me bring in my mining fleet and mine their mission. I'm not sure what was CCP's intention, but it seems as if your not really supposed that, or your discouraged from doing so.

In this case their where 2 pockets, and in the 2nd pocket there was quite a substantial amount of roids that 8 miners and an orca could chew on. But even at this level I feel the requirement was high, the Ore isn't really that valuable. Mostly Veldspar and Scordite, and maybe 1 roid of Omber. Took a few hours.

50km from the first room to the 2nd, so that means no orca boosts the entire time. Orca's also travel at 68km/s. MWD the Orca would have made it feasible, but they can't use 100mn MWD's. Freighter wasn't even allowed to enter.

A few mining toons with a badger, no way. Probably needs about 2 orca's, but it isn't really worth it.

What I propose is that after the mission is turned in, instead of despawning immediately, leave it there for 2 hours like the wrecks. Remove the gates too so I can scan it down and warp straight into someone elses mission belt when they clearly don't want it. :D

Otherwise, I'm sure we're all wondering, why are there asteroids in missions if your not meant to mine them? Why isn't there ice?

ok i remember missions like that but why wouldn't you get the bonus from the orca? mine all the rocks jetison them bookmark the location turn in the mission then haul the ore tis pretty easy
