Not sure is this is the right section of the Forum but i'll ask anyway. Does anyone have any experience of running EVE on an APU? I'm wondering what sort of frame rates I might expect at 1080p. No requirement to multibox/multitask with other apps.

State the APU in question.

I was hoping to find someone who has been running eve using a AMD A10 5800K or similar. The background to the question is that i'm thinking of making an ITX PC. It only needs to play eve and I would like to avoid a seperate GPU if possible.

I don't think it will suite Eve Online, according to a fast google search. If you don't want a dedicated graphic card, I'd go with Intel's HD 5000 GPU in the Haswell SoC CPUs (i7).

If you're looking for cheap, something like an E350 board _might_ run it with settings down low (don't quote me on that).

Personally, I'd hold out for some Silvermont boards to be released.
