The Launcher Still Sucks

as long as its slower to boot multiple accounts i wont use it\

so fix that

but preferably make an oddy animation for the old one and cut this **** launcher with a hacksaw out of it code

The uninstalls, installs, repairs, workarounds were attempts at making the launcher works and wouldnt happen automatically. Unless i wanted to lose several days of playing because i took each step right before bed then waking up to try something new

Is it still broken for you? Or are you just continuing the complaint on principle?

First day seeing this infamous launcher. Works like a charm. I can't believe there was so much angst about it. Maybe all the bugs got worked out before the Mac version arrived.

No and no, in roughly that order. It broke in a hilariously silly way; working around it fixed things for no reason; and people getting snippy about others saying that it's not… entirely stable need to slapped like the dopes they are.

you know you can go in to the launcher settings and have it stay open. This way you just exit client > hit play to go back to character select without reentering passwords.

*sucks more, because now Mac users are forced to use it as well. Only we get a shittier, unoptimized version (as is the standard for us)

They should add a feature to the launcher that shows how many people have had trouble with the launcher in the last hour or so. That would be awesome.

Ok. So at least you accept that it needs a fair bit of servicing to make it more solid, since it continues to be exhibit buggy behaviour and even creates new batches of bugs with this latest release.

launcher works fine for me

I have 3 accounts and zero trouble run 2 on 1 pc and 1 on laptop.

I'd much rather see news and such on the launcher than how it used to be when you'd go to log in and there'd be this stupid advertisement popup in the center of screen, you never got to see the fancy themed login screens cause each time you opened the client there was a stupid advertisement popup in center of the client.

having the launcher be separate is nicer

i dont want popup ads in my damn game

I just wondering, - is that be a big problem tu use ONE launcher for all servers (mean put in launcher functionality to player choose a server to log in, same like its for switching between accounts)?
With this new launcher issue I shut reinstal each day launcher to get em update properly himself to log in to SiSi =(
