well i'd say that if house Harkonnen would form an alliance with the Starks, Chuck Norris, BA Baracus and Daffy Duck they might just win from everyone.

how eve wins.

1. ccp removes all balance.
2.Jove goes to Sansha nation and they create a cure for the Jovian disease.
3.Jove leave their space fielding technology and ships which cannot be fathomed. I.E Jovian titan.
4. Jovian titan doomsday device links all eve gate together and fires life ending weapon towards enemy fleets/homes, we get new statue in jita.
5. new fanfic.

yes there that reference in deep space 9 of closing to 500m which appear to confirm that ST and EVE fight at equal ranges. SW there is expanded universe evidence of engaging a realistic ranges but there is also a lot of evidence of firing at 1m. Remember episode 3's opening battle.



Cisco was a loser, just as the defiant was a pretty lame ship, Picard while on command of Galaxy class and sovereign class starships, Often if not always engaged in combat at warp speeds or at the minimum at impulse speed (lightspeed) at ranges of thousands of kilometers, same did Janeway on voyager, and tho she was quite the most idiotic captain in ST history, she did had some moments of brilliance.

unfortunately its all about scales, Star war ships look weak, when fighting among them but then we get back into power measurements, what might look like a shield buffer tank without resists in star wars, its soaking terawattas of firepower per second, which if it was aimed at either a ST ship or Eve ship, would vaporize it instantly.

then they have nasty stuff like the galaxy gun which was pretty much indestructible and could blow up stars?

if you are going to compare army sizes, EVE against all the imperial fleet, then you have include every single NPC army in New Eden, including sansha and his wormhole tech.

Galactic Army v Galactic Army

Also, since one scout can bring in the whole army at once, all in takes is one SB to get to a vulnerable spot and bam.

Home planets will fall one by one.

I think everyone is forgetting local smack talk.

Eve is used to it, everyone elses fleets would fall apart due to insanely high levels of 'Mad'.
