From my understanding with this recent change is that any object that is dropped (from a ship, ship hangar array, etc. that is destroyed) that is over the size of a jet can (27,500) will be destroyed because it is larger then the size of the jet can.

Does this mean that a freighter that is using freighter containers (for example general freighter container, 120,000 M3) when said freighter is destroyed would drop no items (if all items are in the freighter containers) because the freighter containers are larger then the can that is created in the wreck when the freighter is destroyed?

not sure, but it probably wouldn't take very long on the test server to find out.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

You should see the freight containers dropping instead. At least this was how it has been in the past. You rarely ever see any, but I have seen them in space near gates a few times.

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

I'm on a freshly re-installed computer and don't want to spend the hour time to re-setup an install for the dev server if I didn't have to (and then re-locating alts ships and items into one area). I figured this was a common place game mechanic someone would have already tested since these changes were released, but if I don't hear a confirmed recently tested verification since the new mechanics were implemented I'll be doing the testing myself.

Containers cannot be put inside other containers; the freight containers will drop separately.

There's nothing worse than an EVE player, generally considered to be top of the food chain in the MMO world, that cannot smacktalk with wit and coherency.

I blew up a hauler the other day and the containers stayed in the wreck. given I was in a combat ship there was no way for me to loot em, and I didn't see any option to view contents.

Sorry, I should clarify: I don't know under what circumstances they will be trashed, but they will not be trashed upon popping (the ship) and they will drop rather than be put in a jetcan (in case of salvaging the wreck or something). Also, I have personally confirmed the ability to drop several jetcans at once when attempting to dump loads larger than a single jetcan can hold; the instances are always within pos shields tested as recently as last week, so I don't know if different circumstances have different outcomes. Also, it is possible to deploy a shitload of containers at the same time, even overlapping each other in space. Hope this helps.
