So my 2nd attempt at eve (on my main and still playing) I wanted to be an industrialist. So was mining in my bantam and thought "you know what's a good idea? A mining catalyst!" After an hour I thought "I can get some low sec mining. It can't be that bad"

Jumped into low sec, it took 30 secs to be scanned, killed and podded. It was U N K N O W N and have been set to red ever since.

Was in comms when my CEO asked me to check outside station to see if it was clear and he would jump into system and dock up.

I replied "yup clear no reds in local"

As he jumped in it dawned on me I wasn't in our home system I was 8 jumps away on a shopping trip.

needless to say he died in a fire to a camping gang.

that was time #2of4 where I accidentally that CEO :)

If you've never tried PvP in EvE it's quite possible you've missed out on one of the greatest rushes available in modern gaming.

The three I can think of are pretty stupid.

1: had items and saw a decent buy order so I sold them. Too bad I was the highest buy order Ugh
2: Was super sleepy but fitting a ship and bought a scram for $1 billion isk since I was too tired to care and it was the closest.Oops
3: I had a guy scrammed and webbed but I couldn't kill him since I forgot all my ammo. I had to run off and he sent me a PM thanking me.Smile

Everytime you read this you are required to send 100 million isk directly to me.

Returning to the game in 2008 and not knowing that WTZ had been introduced, I was still doing it the old way. After some PVP in the Parts system, got podded while trying to make a run for the gate from the station.

Had I know about WTZ I would not have been podded.

You could say I died "the old fashioned way".

Docking at that kickout station in low because **** it, I have 2 stabs.

Splat.

There's nothing worse than an EVE player, generally considered to be top of the food chain in the MMO world, that cannot smacktalk with wit and coherency.

When I was in my first 2 weeks on my trial I bought my first cormorant. I then fitted it with autocannons because I thought it would have worked. After killing about 2 pirates, I felt so freaking unstoppable I decided to jump into tama.

Then an abaddon showed up...

But the worst part is that I had like an entire 40 seconds to warp away and escape, Yet I decided to approach te abaddon and say "hi". 41 seconds later I was back in my station.
