I only have one and it's not much of a story. When I was just starting my career in EVE and still drank alcohol, I thought a drink or two and some casual missioning might be an entertaining way for a newbie to spend an evening. The next thing I remember is waking up in the middle of the night sweating and looking at a pod. I'd like to think it was a combination of alcohol and fatigue, that made me fall asleep in the middle of a mission and not the missioning itself, but to this day I can't say that for sure.

Out small gang roaming one evening and decided I needed a shot of whiskey while we had a moment sitting at a gate while the scout did his thing. I hiccuped doing the shot and aspirated 100 proof Rye. That seared my nose and lungs and sent me into an uncontrollable coughing fit. I had snot and whiskey running out of my nostrils. Felt like I had been pepper sprayed.

Meanwhile my fleet moved to another gate, leaving my ship floating there left behind while I gasped for air at my bar. I stumbled back to my computer while my fleet kept trying to raise me on voice comms, but I couldn't keep from coughing long enough to answer.

I tried to make a couple jumps to a station system but ended up safing up and just logging out for awhile. I was about ready to snort lines of vasoline to put the fire out in my sinus tract.

My favourite time was also the first time I FC'd

We were being thrown out of our space and so I offered to take out a drunken suicide roam to lose some of the ships that we wouldn't have been able to get out in the carriers.

So 4 slightly rubbish PvPers (at the time) set out to die in frigs and cruisers

because we were engaging anything we actually managed to dogpile on a couple of kills as well as get some of our own.

The worst thing is that to this date it's the only fleet I've Fced where everyone came back alive :S

Still wonder if it was a result of being super confident or more likely super lucky.

If you've never tried PvP in EvE it's quite possible you've missed out on one of the greatest rushes available in modern gaming.

Making use of insider information gleaned on the CSM to purchase large quantities of moon minerals before getting publically banned. Market logs were interpretted by many and markets shifted premptively. CCP altered their plans and changed what materials would be buffed in value, thus sparking the great tech war and the downfall of the NC.

That was one crazy Yom Kippur.
