I didn't think a bubble effected the JB operations. Of course I could be way off base but I though a jb acted the same as a gate.

They do, if you bubble on a bridge a ship can't go through it (if it's in the bubble, they can bridge into it) same as if you tackle one with a point/scram.

@OP I have no idea, it's kind of a rare case.
