That I can place my original BPOs in a station and remotely research them at a pos I have in system from the safety of the station? without having to risk of having said BPOs at the station?

Yes. Well, I'm assuming yes. You can have a BPO in station and research it at a POS without ever undocking with it.

You just need to have Scientific Networking, and a corporate hangar in a station, in the same system as the POS.

I'm assuming you're doing this on an different character that's in a non-NPC corp.

Most of my research and manufacturing alts never undock.

Funny though that most of them also have bounties.

Your assumption is correct. You can never be too careful, this is eve after all.

Another question.

Although the BPOs can be in station, do the minerals and components have to be in the assembly array or can they be in the station as well?

Can the T2 BPC be in station as well or do they have to be in the labs?

What about the BPC that you are currently inventing? Lab or can they be in station? Decryptors? Lab or station?

Thanks in advance for the replies.

Materials need to be in the arrays, bpos/bpcs not, just like in real world.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I was wondering when I copy my BPOs in the office hangar the output always become in the lab arrays. Is there anyway to make the BPCs in my office hangar ?

Lady Areola Fappington:  Solo PVP isn't dead!  You just need to make sure you have your booster, remote rep, cyno, and emergency Falcon alts logged in and ready before you do any solo PVPing.

Use a station copy slot.

So I left all the materials and components in the Equipment hangar array to manufacture something while having the BPCs in the corp hangar and it didn't work, the quote was saying I didn't have any of the mats.

What am I missing here?

Did you select the appropriate hangar for input?

Also did you select the correct manufacturing array, I know that I've accidentally selected the Medium Ship Assembly Array, when I was actually meaning to select the small one etc.

Also for remote manufacture you need "Supply Chain Management" instead of "Scientific Networking"(the second one is for research only)

Just out of curiosity, do you bother with the whole Datacore thing? After getting the science skills up for my Indy toons I have them work on getting standing up with certain player corps to make the RP for datacores thing happen. I don't do the daily missions, but being able to get into L4 R&D and cash in the RPs a couple times a year for datacores that I use on a daily basis is worth it for me.

No, I can't be bothered with datacores anymore.

I might pick them up if I'm in the neighborhood and remember, but that hasn't happened yet. I've not collected my datacores since the change to them went in, about 428 days ago by my RP count.

Heh. 787 days for me. That should summarize how much they're worth these days.
