Having trouble downloading the game client

Im getting archive extraction fail on the installer. The directions for manual install arent really helpful either. Anyone have any idea what i need to do?

This just happened to me on my laptop. It was suspected to be either a RAM or a HDD issue.

In my case it was a HDD issue. Bought a new HDD. Everything is working good now. Save for some OS and OEM stuff, EVE is working fine.

You should try doing a memory test and/or run SpinRite surface check.

I had also noticed very poor boot times prior to diagnosing. Has this been the case with you as well?

Ive just recently tried to download the game. i havent played in more than a year. My PC as far as I know is in perfect shape, it runs a multitude of other games. Ive only had an issue with this one

use the repair tool on files

Ive tried the repair tool but I dont have the game in any form on my pc. The installer is just making a ccp folder with an empty Eve folder inside it. The repair tool says that the installer isnt in the folder that it obviously is in. im sure Im screwing up somehow I just dont know how.

Well this is extremely frustrating. Nothing seems to work and I cant find a proper workaround. How hard is it to have a working installer for a game thats this old. What the heck did they change. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled this game numerous times over the years with no issue.
