margin trading buy order question

Can someone explain to me what happens when you lower price of a buy order when you have margin trading skill?

If I lower a buy price, I don't notice a refund entry in my wallet for the % of the market escrow not needed anymore, but if you re-raise the price, it always takes more ISK for the market escrow for the new higher price.

So where is this ISK going when you lower the price? Seems like if you raise/lower your price repeatedly your ISK just disappears.

Did you check in the "isk required to cover" section

Of what? What are you talking about. I asked who can answer the question, not who can vaguely refer to something that may or may not contain the answer.

*shrugs*

You have margin trading I assume? As you mentioned it in the title.

As you have this skill and are an observant viewer of your wallet, you will notice that it says
"Total in Escrow: X ISK (additional X ISK to cover)"

My vague reference referred to whether there was in fact any variation in the numerical value contained within the "Additional X ISK to cover"

OK, now I am seeing the "market escrow release" in my wallet after i changed the type to "market escrow", must have been some kind of caching issue.

Mystery solved.
