Attributes Implant Had No Effect, Why?

I've just got podded in wormhole space, had five +4 attribute implants and my stats were 24 average.

Upon death and transferring into new clone, I checked that, of course, I had no implants. But my attributes are unchanged at 24 average.

Then I bought the exact same new implants, plugged em in, and results were still 24 average attributes.

It is as if the implants do nothing. What gives? (Also no change in training time, plus no prompt to asking me to pause training in order to plug in implants.)

(My highest attribute is only at 28, lowest 21.)

What's the exact name of the implants you're using? I suspect you're using boosters.

I am and was (had them on for a while until podded) using the standard implants for all the attributes, I still have them on (new ones for 22mil each) and I am 100% certain they aren't boosters.

The before podding attributes (with implants), after podding (without), and new clone (with), were all the same, as to why I am so confused.

When you get podded, the attribute loss is not instant.

The skill you are currently training will complete just as if you'd still had your implants.
But if you pause or modify your skill queue, your new, lower, attributes will take effect.

That explains it. Thank you for the swift response.

AFAIK the attributes in the attributes tab don't change when you add implants.

Those are the fixed attributes you have, not taking into account implants.

For skilltime however the attributes are taken into account.
