Ok, i cocked about with the search function for ten minutes and discovered that there are no results for "Bomb won't fire", "Bomb won't launch", "Can't bomb" or anything else, but literally thousands for "Your Mum".

Yes, i've also googled it (which isn't a verb and it makes my stomach turn using it as one) and found nought.

Soo, whilst noodling about in null in a nemesis with a buddy of mine, we scanned down a combat site - warped in for a gander, it was fully rammed and too much for our wee ships but, before we left i figured i might as well launch a bomb into them, bit of a laugh, tip over a few drinks etc.

Spent about ten minutes creeping around tiny asteroids so as not to be decloaked, finally got my warp away lined up. Started my run, smiling that even in my less-than-sober state i could at the very least scratch paint and go "ooh, pretty", decloaked and smashed my bomb launcher...

You know when you try and warp in a mission and you get told "Anomolies are preventing blah blah blah...", well that's basically what i get - that something was preventing me from launching a bomb. You know what it's like, sweet talking how impressive your launcher is, you unfurl the beast, flex the necessary fingers and, despite smashing it over and over again, you can't even tempt a tear from it? Yeah, well this is where i was at, cept i didn't have to look the Guristas in the eye and say, "I'm sorry, that's never happened to me before".

Ok, i can understand the thought behind preventing warp but anyone have any idea, whatsoever, why i can't launch in a -0.7 system? I didn't lose a ship (that time at least, though be honest, Nemesis/bombers don't really count, they're all but disposable) but i've never been denied a bomb launch out here before.

'supwiddat?

EU is more PC than the US. ;)

Imagine the horror of a game that's WWII based and can't even mention Hitler. On EvE's forum it's Godwin's Law instantly. Blink

i thought of that at first too, but i read a 2nd time, he is talking about - 0.7, not 0.7, and unless he made a mistake and was effectively in high sec, i see no reason he whould have been prevented from launching a bomb in a - 0.7 system

what make me think of it is that the message you have from trying to use a bomb in high is nothing to do with "anomaly preventing you from blabla...."

this - was only because i had nothing better to do, not like i intended to achieve anything more than the pod-express back to where my real ships are parked.
