drone skills question, and advice on desiging perfect carrier/super pilot

1st. Under the drone skills, do any of them effect fighters, or are fighters/fighter bombers not considered drones. Drone sharpshooting, durability, navigation. Will they affect a carrier pilot who exclusively uses fighters. I should get the durability and sharpshooting up for sentries, but its less of a priority.

That's my carrier pilot. Would like some advice on what to do for the next six months with him. Ive got plans for about the next 45 days figured out, but I'm running out of ways to make him highly specialized as a carrier pilot.

On the docket, I've got thermodynamics 5, energy pulse weapons 5, nanite operation and interfacing both to 5, then I'm out of ideas. Maybe t2 triage with tactical logistics reconfiguration to 5. (what a fun 32 days that will be) But as a super pilot, not necessary. I am running out of ideas on how to further refine and specialize the toon.

Also, i dread putting him in an archon/aeon just because amarr carrier 5 is another tough 56 days. But it might happen in a couple of months with out more ideas.

1. No other skills affect Fighters except 'Fighters' skill and Gallente Carrier skill level
Drone Durabilty V is nice, gives you a Cert, but otherwise meh... Not a huge priority imo
Repair Drones IV imo
Drone Nav is a rank 1 skill. Just do it !!

2. The thread asks for "Perfect" Carrier advice. So imo:
Carrier V
T2 Triage
T2 rigs fitted (Rigging skills)
Thermodynamics V
+5 Implants (Cybernetics V)

Carrier V first and foremost and the rest more or less in the order listed. Maybe Cyber V can move up a notch? And Maybe you will buy a Super with T2 rigs already installed.

Will be a nice Carrier pilot. GL.


Edit here: Just saw that you have Gallente Carrier V. But yeah I stand by the previous list.

If you intend you use your carrier for pvp, you will need drone skills more then fighter skills; when it comes to pvp, the reality is that it is rare to use your fighters on a carrier, usually the sentry drones get all the action. You really can't call it a perfect carrier pilot without em. Only a 100% dedicated super pilot doesn't need the drone skills.
