Hmmmm....

I can't of anything worse than being a racist besides being a racist of a digital and imaginary race of people who exist only in the story-line of an online video game. Shocked

As you were.

I know a bomber is different, just got lazy. It's still not "amarrian" per say - most bombers are identical except for the nemesis, which blows.

Well its Amarrian because its slot layout blows and is completely dump for an Amarrian fit, so in that way it is :D

Punisher - yes, it's better.

Maller, still sucks.

Harbinger - OK now. Let's not even talk about the Navy BCs; they all blow, except for maybe Nay Brutix.

I see so many absolutions flying around.

Thanks to last pass over BSs, there's no reason to fly an Abaddon when you have 8 lows in a Megathron. Also, Rokh. Using 2 or all your rig slots just to be able to fire your weapons, and still for barely any useful amount of time, is why Abaddon is worse than the Rokh and Mega.

Maller - ARE YOU MAD its one of the best T1 tanks that exist!

Why ignore how much better the Apoc is now?

And no, the Abaddon is NOT worse than a Rokh. Sorry, but no

Says the many, many Abaddon fleets roaming New Eden. Last time I saw an Abaddon fleet was quite awhile ago. Rokh, Mega - the new BS gods.

You roam in a Rokh? Other than to SB-Camp gates that is?

Get blown up a lot and fail at everything, which is exactly the way CCP wants it.

This is nothing new: They did the same thing back in SWG, because Lucas was so offended that anyone would dare to play Imperial so they had to keep nerfing the Empire into oblivion. America's Army, when it first came out, let you play as the "insurgents" - but then people actually started doing that, and worse, winning; which didn't mesh with the game's whole reason for existing (ergo, as a propaganda/recruiting gimmick for the US military). Or you could just go look at Warcraft itself, where the pure blond aryan Alliance battles against the innumerable poorly disguised bad ethnic stereotypes of the Horde.

It's simple: The big boss says "The guy on that side reminds me of that guy who banged the girl I wanted, so make his side lose" and the devs must then make it happen. If you don't believe me, go browse the Live Events section for a while. Dev bias is an ancient tradition of the industry, so no reason to waste breath one's breath trying to make it change - because it won't. Ever.

I loved playing as Opfor in AA =(

And yes all and all I do feel short changed compared to other races. We are stuck in em/therm damage pattern.

Our drone ships are not suited for pve very well.

Tank got nerfed, the one ting that really made amarr shine.

Super slow ships.

Restrictive BS fittings, you NEED cap rigs. And med slot cap mods.

Most pvp corps I've been really don't use amarr.

Honestly if I knew now when I first started I wouldn't have made amarr.

Strangely enough my Amarr pilot doesn't have any problem flying a Drake or a Vexor =)

My friend has equal SP with me. He flies a Tengu and steam rolls l4s, gets them done faster, and more efficiently. No changing the fit, no doing anything different. Can aggro a whole entire room.

I fly a Paladin, perfect armor tanking skills, perfect laser skills, I have to change hardeners every mission, I have to manage aggro, I have to move around. I have to use em/therm crystals. I only have enough room in my drone bay for maybe two types of drones.

I really don't care that he can do it 10 times easier. More power to him. Lore wise it doesn't make sense. A Marauder is meant for deep space long term combat. A Tengu is a tiny little cruiser.

Meh, my two isk,

inb4 doing missions wrong, cherry picking missions, HTFU, consequences, anything people say to shut down arguments with clever like quips. Fact of the matter is Amarr is too rigid. If they added the ability to change DPS type it would make it better.

Try a legion? Tons of nice HAM fits out there (I prefer scorch myself).

I mean, if you are going to compare cruisers...

While I don't disagree that these ships are useful (meh about crusader), it seems very odd, doesn't it, that all these ships rely on ewar, or are built around speed (zealot) to be effective? It's telling that you don't name a single Amarr ship that utilizes the race's main themes; namely, to be an armor tanking, laser brawler.

I was sad the maller didn't get mentioned.

Try a double plated maller with small t2s and harass some FW frigates.

It's good fun =)

You are doing it wrong. I rake in 100 mil ISK / hour using my napoc fit and no I won't share with whiners. Using Paladin? Nice pretty ship but you are better off blitzing L4s and looting them in your noctis later on.

You guys are forgetting some things.

Archon - only carrier that can tank a DD.
Aeon - one of the more prolific supers next to the nyx due to its insane amount of EHP.
Revelation - Does decent DPS, instantly swaps ammo to keep optimal and tanks.
