Requirement for a mid range freighter

Been longing for the day when CCP thought of introducing a mid sized freighter , say like a mini Charon.

I wonder how many times players Undock there massive freighter with little more than the maximum amount cargo that a Bustard or iteron V could hold to avoid that additional trip only to find that the time it takes to get the thing across space far out weighed that of two trips.

Personally would like to have seen the introduction of something with a hold capacity of around 180K m3 but with the addition of

Low, Mid and rigs slots allowing for some modification to it stats.

Might as well train an Orca. CCP seems to be more content with offering us "new" ways to embarrass ourselves on killmails with the t1 indy ship rebalance than actually giving us what we need.

A mini freighter would need the same requirements as the normal one...you jsut learns all that stuff, why would you not run the big boy.

Freighters will not get slots.Mini or otherwise. You buy the mini, run cargo rigs and mods and now you have a half asssed freighter. CCP is not going to cut off freighters sales, which is what would happen.


Orca as mentioned is your midline.
