Patch downloading really slow?

Launched eve over an hour ago and the launcher starts and commences downloading the 76.12mb patch which is still downloading now and only currently at 28mb downloaded, the browser is really slow also?

restarted the router and PC and its just the same, everything else i have tried such as youtube etc is working fine, is there an issue with eve at the moment ?

hmm as of 1 minute after posting this thread the patch decides to speed up to normal. so very odd

Yeah I'm having the same issue. Took forever to download the 6mb initial patch then about 10mins to download the 28Mb patch at 40k/s and now it says the launcher update is going to take another 25 mins.

Same here - this is horrifically slow... taken more than half an hour to download a couple of megabytes... my internet is fine however. Extremely frustrating!

Same. 30 mins and only 50% done. Speedtest showing 9Mb/s and no other issues my end.

Yea me too, really slow download at the moment and no problems I can see my end.

I ended up downloading the patch from eve files (at normal speed) and installing it that way.
