Has anyone noticed when you select a target the screen centers on that target? This can be frustrating when selecting several targets. Like when salvaging.

Is it possible to turn this off or prevent it from centering?

You have the tracking camera on.

You can turn it off from the selected items window in the top left option menu (do this first).

You can toggle that camera mode inside your directional scanner window.

If you just can't get away from the tracking camera. Make an overview setting for wrecks.

The shortcut key is 'c'. That toggles the tracking camera on and off.
