warp scramble ammo thread

I believe eve would benefit from this addition. It would make long range one on one pvp possible. It could make the
wcstab viable again. it could add interesting new mechanics to eve pve. There would have to be rules though. Here are the rules I believe would be necessary...
1.has no effect on capital ships
2.missiles will not be included as a ws type for obvious reasons(fast ships should be immune)
3.special defender anti-ws ammo missile type projectile will be available for missile ships
4.ws ammo will have one scramble effect and will immunize that target from further ws ammo scram.
5.in order to use ws ammo all available turret slots on said ship must be fitted with turrets and loaded with
ws ammo
6. ws ammo will deal less damage than conventional ammo and deal an odd combination of damage types for that race.
7. ws ammos effect will be instantaneous and only serves to interupt a targets warp drive from completing a warp as opposed to a complete jam like conventional jammmers. ws ammo effect will cycle equivalent to the weapon fire rate and will not be reactivated by successive shots, but only after the ship has been fired on by the sum of all turrets.
8. each race will be balanced by distributing damage in their particular wsc ammo type
(ex: vortex shell,tachyon beam, dark matter charge) depending on weapons available for highslot
wcs ammo fits and other race traits.
9.wcs ammo does not interfere with micro warpdrives
10.THIS CAN ONLY BY AVAILABLE FOR LONG RANGE WEAPONS!!!(it can be reasoned that close range use
of such ammo would effect your ship as well.)

explanations:
A.rule 4 along with rule 6 will prevent ws ammo from being superior to conventional jammers.
B. rule 4 will allow wc stabs to be an effective aption for avoiding ws ammo scram(fleet fights)
C.rule 4 in combination with rule 5 prevent ws ammo exploitation(using only one turret to ws ammo scram.)
D. rule 7 is meant to allow a small window for smaller/nimble aligned ships to warp away from this form of scram
imbetween hits and reloads.
E.rule 10 because high dps platforms combined with this ammo will destroy eve

Why would I bother doing less damage when I can just put on a mod? Especially if I am flying an armour ship.

Now, more than ever, we need a dislike button.

because you can't long range solo pvp unless your oppenent also wants to solo long range pvp?

May I suggest fitting a Scram or Disruptor on your ship the next time you try to catch somebody?

And long range pvp?

You know there are 30km mods right? And with some ships.. more than 50km.

I heard some bad ideas.. this is certainly at the top of that list. Although not as bad as the other posters idea of a server reset.

How about ECM ammo so you can shoot them but they can't shoot you.

I dont understand how this thread pops up ever year....

Completely silly idea in everyway

Now if you had said somthing like "adding a 15km bubble around bombs that disrupts mwds and warp drives" id be fine with it since its 0.0 with uber tidi anyway who cares

I gave this a cursory glance and decided "Nah" after seeing that missiles aren't included in your idea. Most ideas need to have a good balance before being implemented, and leaving out a weapons group isn't exactly good balance.

With all the ideas people keep throwing around about having ammo for ecm / cloak / web / scram/blah blah blah they would need to increase the damn cargo hold to carry it all! Shocked

Ammo to reduce your opponent's cargo hold and force their ammo into space.

Perhaps a function to mix all the bullets into one pile and then load that into the guns.

Sure you may not know wtf your shooting, but it will look like a wicked bitching rainbow.

Long range scrambled pvp huh?

I have another great idea, how bout we allow to shoot the ships that are parked in station so that we will not need to wait for guys to come out, because it's boring.
And also we can add module that warps week enemies from the system to you, but at long range so that you can long range pvp them. What is it with me and great ideas today, I'm on fire!

Why not one turret that shoots special ammo who can disable mods? Very low rate of fire (one every minute?), but has 80% of chance to disable an ACTIVE module (passive mod coudln't be shut off) for 30sec.
