But why would you do that?

Paying 90$ a month just to play Eve is quite excessive.

If it is one person and they are doing what is said, they are probably plexing all the accounts, thus paying nothing but their time to play EVE.

It was obvious that they were controlled by one person because they undocked and warped off in unison?

Because there are no game mechanics that might allow for warping 6 ships at once?
Because it is impossible to have multiple people undock in unison?

If you had seen it I think you would agree they were being controlled by the same person. I have been playing a while and never seen formation flying like this.

ISBoxer looks interesting. I might try that

Ok guys news flash, as a fleet leader you can warp your whole fleet with one click of the fleet boss. As far as them undocking at the same time that is easy because as well as playing in a fleet you’re on vent and say undock; wow! You all come out at the same time.

Let’s get real around here, we know that there is stuff out there that helps you to use one keyboard and one mouse to control as many computers as you link to, but you still need 6 screens to see what is happening on each account and you have to move your mouse over that screen to do anything with that account. This is by no means a exploit, but yes some people use bots to run their accounts when away from the keyboard, this is a exploit as you can leave the keyboard. Now back to the not a exploit way, if you use one computer or more and have the monitors to hook up then it is easy, I have 6 accounts, but only 3 screens so I alt tab to get to the other clients. I also use 6 accounts at once and can do a dam good job even with only 3 monitors and having to swap clients. Nice thing about Windows 7 is if you put the mouse over the icon on the window bar it shows you a small screen of your other clients this way you don't have to change screens as much if you look at them this way. I can mine with all 6 accounts and I can mission, but I never PVP with all 6 too much to keep up with, now when I get 3 more screens and I don't have to alt tab I will PVP all 6 together as that would be easy as well.

As for the guy that said who pays 90 a month to play this game well I guess you got me there, but now again with 6 accounts working together I make a **** load of isk without breaking the Rules.

No, stop trying. If you know nothing about multi-boxing and the related software, you aren't entitled to say what can and cannot be done with it.

I think your a bit behind the curve in this thread, we've already established that fleet warp and simultaneously undocking can be achieved, but can't account for what I saw.

We have also established that programs like ISBoxer negate the need for multiple monitors to control multiple EVE accounts

Please keep up!!

Plexing six accounts in order to grind enough to plex six accounts!

Way to go champ.

My record was somewhere in the realm of 4.5bil in a single day running incursions with 6 accounts. IIRC it only takes about half that to keep them plexed for a month. Nope, can't think of any reason why someone would want to run multiple accounts and pay for them via plex :D

That said, the last time I used ISBoxer I was running RR domis (I just manually multibox for incursions). I would immagine what the OP saw was an ISBoxer user, because IIRC the guys who make the program placed that limit on the number of accounts you could run at once (not sure why, but that was why I had 6 accounts running around)

I run 6 accounts at a time in PvP I haven't configured Synergy for the simultaneous movements because I fly a mixed array of ships. Usually a tanky bait ship, one ECM ship, a DPS ship and a logi with two T3 command boosters. I run it on 3 computers and alt tab since I am running on 3 screens. It works well enough

Once you have 20+ bil, can't you just make exponentially more by trolling small markets in JIta ? After the first 10 billions, you should be beyond grinding.

Probably, but then I;m far too compulsive to be any good at market manipulation. I buy and sell characters far more often than any sane person would, and once I hit 20+ bil I went out and bought myself an utu.

It's also worth noting that once you get good at it multiboxing isn't any harder than, say, grinding lvl 4s. I used to run my incusion fleets while watching TV for example.
