It creates thousands of pissed off pilots with no home tying them down and nothing to lose...

Enjoy your "War" while it lasts, Goons.

Methinks NC. may be looking for a new place to settle. Deklein, perhaps? Twisted

Best thing do to is burn it all down.

There are some highsec carebears working on just that. It's time to make nullsec what I remember it being.... holy cow I just realized today is the day I started playing Eve.... back in 2006.

In the case of renter alliances no it doesn't do much.
If you disband an alliance that has a tactile and strong hold on a region then it would probably hurt them a lot more. Goons or Test losing Sov would almost instantly be a war winner (as seen with BoB) although they would still have structures to grind, the loss of every jump bridge, cyno-jammer and the inability to replace them would be pretty bad.

No, but it scatters them, and forces them to regroup, which is what Goons wants right now. Sometimes the reformation is never complete, due to people finding new goals while corps are out on their own as well. Look at 401k. They have a few ex-BoB corps, but they aren't BoB, nor do they appear to want to be.

Also, S2N Citizens is a renter alliance, nothing more. They don't appear to have any kind of massive bonding culture among each other, so they are probably gone for the time being. If this had have been done to NC., Pandemic Legion, Nulli Secunda, or someone like Solar Fleet, you might have a point.

ETA: Nulli Legio, maybe, but even then, meh, it's a feeder alliance for S2N.

Arguably disbanding a renter alliance does some pretty big damage. The only ties they have is financial, and most of them have lost access, at least temporarily to their stuff. Some renters may indeed have a backbone, but I'm willing to bet the vast majority of them are going to **** off to greener pastures as their rented space is rapidly turning into a warzone.

If we had disbanded Nulli proper they would just reform, but this was a hit against their renters. Renters are a fickle bunch.

Careful now, you don't want the Harry Forever movement turning into a full blown Carebear Revolution.

You make a valid point, good Sir or Madam.

Yea I mean the resurgence of BOB, all hail our overlords, and their comeback story of how they took EVE by storm totally proves your point.
