Attack run drones for dust

Would it be possible to send drones down to attack a planet instead of being only able to bombard?

For example... Select 2 points for a strike and the drones strike the first point at an angle using the second point for an attack vector?

They'd look like they were going into warp as they left grid and then they'd warp back to you assuming you didn't leave after they are done.

A way to do an angled bombardment so that you might get those ants hiding under the edge of the roof.

You'd need something like 9,000km drone control range to handle it or, perhaps, a combined orbital signal booster (deployable structure that can be destroyed by other EVE players) and a ground-side signal receiver/repeater that can be destroyed by Dust players.

Personally, I think that may be taking it a bit far.

Have it the same as orbital assults save that you have to select 2 points now and use the control pad to select an firing angle.

Just blow up the ship before the beacon is up to stop the drone bombardment.

A tough for when they finish installing large tactical ammo?

It would be cool to see super carriers deploy a flight of fighter-bombers to fly down and bombard the battlefield.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.
